He was trying to buy SWFC recently - he is interested in buying a Championship club but I can't see it being us more likely the Basseys as Tan probably would sell at the right price

He's made a lot of money buying undervalued assets with a respectable history and a very high ceiling so Cardiff would be a bit of a change for him.

Not only a change but a challenge to boot.

Somebody chucking stuff around Twitter that Andy Coleman is selling the club, which obviously he can’t. It’s not his to sell.

He can sell his own shares presumably. He put money into the club and that holding has probably been diluted percentage wise. What did he put in to buy share £1m+ . His former mates have legged it with their fingers burnt including that nice chap Jake Silverstein who will have not lost so much. They gave The SCST a coll £500k which almost certainly is devaluing.

He invested in Swansea Football LLC. When Levien and Kaplan as main shareholders in the fund were bought out so was Coleman although he may still own minority shares in the LLC. Coleman ended his chairman role at the end of that season but remains a director as are some other minor shareholders. Cravatt and Cohen control the fund now with other very minor shareholders. Swansea Football LLC currently own just over 71% of the club.

100% and it will be boosted considerably if we go up in the next couple of seasons, as was agreed in the club purchase. Whether we like it or not finances are having a massive impact in the Championship the new SCR regulations are squeezing clubs like ours, you can have the richest owners but they can only directly invest so much. Football now is all about turnover and the importance of improving this. Currently financially we are probably in the bottom third for turnover and to gain promotion we have to hit way above our weight. Currently we are trying to do this with savvy player trading, buy cheap and sell high, we may not like selling our better players but currently this is the only way we can tread water or progress. There is talk of improving comercial/sponsorship deals pending, if they materialise hopefully it will reduce our dependency on player trading. We should be incredibly grateful for our owners subsidising us by £13M a season, but that alone is not enough, we have to increase our income to progress.
