In terms of regional rugby there is one true region - the Ospreys. Scarlets are basically Llanelli as Blues are Cardiff. The most successful team - the Ospreys. The team that has provided the most Wales players - The Ospreys.

The WRU have said they expect their hospitality commercial revenue to increase by up 12 million but can't see that extinguishing a region that also encompasses Wales "second" city is going to have even more of a detrimental effect on ticket sales and TV revenue.
