| News Comment | Swansea City link to Hatters man at 15:51:19
He is a Wales u21 international and played alongside Josh Thomas. He has kicked on and Josh has done ok. He is thinking of switching to Scotland apparently. He is a fast aggressive forward like Josh. He "scored" the winner for Luton in the play off only to see it ruled out by VAR. |
| News Comment | Yap Yap here’s another Swansea City excuse ! at 16:10:53
Coleman is actually rarely seen speaking publicly. . He is accountable for the performances and he will get sacked if he cannot turn It around. He and Watson have made too many mistakes and need to rectify them soon. |
| News Comment | Rushworth now agrees to another season at Swansea at 20:52:39
That is one headache for next season removed. No sign of a permanent goalkeeper in the wings. Lewis Webb out on loan might be able to make a claim. More good work by Watson. |
| News Comment | TEAM NEWS : Leicester City v Swansea City plus Yates & Mykola latest at 21:15:04
Swansea is in turmoil too much of the time. Stability is needed with Williams and Watson working well in harmony. If you sign potential you must show patience and care. I do not like to see Ntoe sent back to the Netherlands. It is not progression. He needs to get used to the UK game and as a place to live. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : It’s okay moaning about no new players, what about contract renewals ? at 15:48:50
Lowe's goal scoring record is actually pretty decent over his career and he is clearly happy at Swansea where he has had the best time of his career. Players will be offered deal and not accept the wages. Coleman can increase that in the knowledge that Allen and Walsh on big deal will free y up the wages. Parker will be a first teamer on a low deal. Ogbta would not trust Swansea's offerings . He has not had a kick in three years. Even now Parker and Darling are prefered. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Welcome to the world of incompetency and excuses at 16:18:14
The fans are owners. They are one and the same. Forums like this encouraged division whilst the same time having huge influence in the Trust themselves. They were a disaster. Fans accept the credit when things are going well but conveniently forget it when this are going badly. The Sheehan era is too long but at least he has 7 points for 4 games. |
| News Comment | The real issue for Swansea City Women this season at 16:03:22
I do not think moving to England is in the plan. Coleman talked about developing the Swansea team and interestingly "developing the women's football in the whole of Wales". This sounds great and also quite low cost. It seemed an odd comment for him to make but is makes sense. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Is there an answer to any of this ? 💲? at 22:57:17
We in Wales had the best owners run by the best Chairman in the clubs history. He was seriously outperforming. He had recovered from an admittedly bad season hit by bad signings and injuries to appoint Graham Potter. No one has a good word to say about him. He created the great nights and the useless fans group wanted him out. No one criticizes them even after wasting £400,000k on a weak legal case. Coleman has only just arrived and needs time. There is transparency in the accounts. The LLP, what do you want to know?. what use is it to you? |

Cardiff city a comparable team were reportedly losing £2m a month and funded by Vincent Tan. I imagine Swansea would be losing at least one million a month on running costs. Five and a half years that is £66m. (£132m at £2m a month) Footballers bought have to be better than those sold in the medium term for the team to advance. Loans are a waste of time and stop development. US shareholders have invested. Welsh shareholder have lost their wallet. |
| News Comment | Swansea City’s puppet masters in conflict with themselves at 15:44:47
Harrison in my opinion has got it wrong on Christian Fletcher. I believe Duff was the "road block " on Fetcher not Levien. Duff was handed Fletcher by Levien and could not have done more. Duff said he was OK but not even the most talented academy player. Nether Duff nor Sheehan have let Wilson or Congreve stretch their legs for even 5 mins. I saw Congreve pull out of a challenge v Cardiff u21 so he has in my opinion "commitment issues". |
