Benjamin Netanyahu will not make a settlement to allow the areas under their control a STATE to live in , in peace. A solution can be found as long as both side give ground.

This is causing serious problems for the Western World and western principles. Muslim critics point to this situation to prove to their own public that democracy and freedom are a hoax. Dictators like China gain friends at the expense or Western liberalism.

The recent Trump standoff over Ukraine show Israel does not have complete control over US politics.

Israel now claims a Palestinian State is not possible because of 500,000 settlers in the West Bank. It make no difference if you accept like I do that non politicised Muslims Christian and Jews can live together in peace. The West Bank can survive as a Palestinian State linked to Gaza by road and rail links with security provided by the IDF with UN observers with the consent of Palestinians for a 50 year transition period.

If you think it Levien then by implication you are calling Coleman "a purveyor on non truths". he said he called the shots in the forum. It is the US way of doing things as I understand it. I believe him.

There is no point in him being here if Levien has to make decisions as minor as this.

You are asking for "guarantees" again. I am not a lawyer but a word they prefer is "reasonable" .

Cardiff wil argue had they had this £15m centre forward they would have garnered at least 3 extra points from their remaining 20 games or so. He would replace the misfiring Kenneth Zahore.

The court would need the views of both French and UK football experts. Zahore was not very good and Sala was on form. Is it reasonable to think Sala would have been much better than Zahore or somebody else at the club ad this would have garnered points.

Did West Ham argue Harewood and Cole would be close to Tevez and Mascherano? No THEY SETTLED.

Nottingham Forest signed a £15m striker Taiwo Awoniyi and he saved them from the drop.

Coleman makes the call. I know this because he said so. His character suggests to me he is not afraid to make decisions on his own after consultations which might be contradictory.

In my opinion Cullen turned down an improved deal and prefers to run down his deal and take his chances next season. The fact is he did OK last year and is doing OK this year but has actually stats wise regressed. Perhaps Liam asked the club not to state he had turned down an offer?. (specuation)

Some players are overnight sensations e .g Dan james and other are slow burners. I remember Arsenal fans calling Adebayor at 23 "bambi on ice". At 25 Cullen should be at the top of his game. He is flatlining. As slow burners go he is very slow indeed.

Luke Williams gave an inkling of this. "I hope he bangs in a hattrick next season". He scores in ones. Not two or threes. He actually has a good free kick. I saw him bang in a 30 yarder on Barry Towns plastic pitch.

Cullen is no more than a squad player base on his stats . 47 games 7 goals 4 assists. Not all 90 mins of course. Down from last year with two game to play.

His trajectory is flat. He has not addressed his weaknesses in my opinion. (one is taking headed chances).

He has kids coming from the under 21s looking to take his place. Kyrell Wilson and Josh Thomas looking for squad places and chances. Perhaps even Congreve.

When talking about average wages in the Championship one must also consider that most clubs playing average wages are losing money every month.

You use the word GUARANTEE as people often do. Guarantees have caveats.

In law they are even less common. There was no guarantee that Harwood and Cole would not score the goals Tevez scored. The settlement was based on the reasonable interpretation of what would most reasonably be expected. West Ham considered that Harwood and Cole would not score the same as Tevez and settled. The debate was not about Tevez 's output but the comparison of points achieved

"with Tevez and Mascherano " (known) and

"without Tevez and Mascherano" (unknown)

Cardiff similarly will look at points achieved

"With Sala at number 9" (sadly unknown)

"without Sala at number 9" (known)

Would Sala have garnered 2-3 points extra? Warnock certainly believed so.

There is a precedent. People who talk guarantees are not on the ball.

This may be the narrative and the "understanding" of the written press. It is possible I accept. However I do not believe it.

Williams bigged him up today and wants to continue to see his development, He would not be much of a manager if he did not attempt to tie him down to a longer deal while accepting he is notionally underpaid.

I believe the discussions involved a new 2-3 year deal but what was on offer was not considered adequate. The club may have agreed to this deal in 2025 if he shows improvement and hits specific targets. The money they save should be for Sam Parker and those on a stepper trajectory.

Yes but you are then speculating on what Maron Harewood and Carlton Cole would have done in their place. The same as Sala.

West Ham would still have played two forwards. West Ham accepted that they would have NOT scored sufficiently to keep them up and settled the claim. It is the same theoretical argument.

Questions need ? in English. I do not just read the article but read between the lines. I strongly suspect an offer was a made but "Culls" and his representatives rejected it.

Discussion were being held. If there was no offer there was no need for discussions as there would be nothing to discuss.

I suppect Culls wanted £7k a week and the club told him he did not deserve it and offered him less. No one is doubting his enthusiasm and focus but he has a lot of work to do. He has seen off Whitaker and Gyokeres so cannot complain . They have kicked on big time he has stagnated.

Having said that he is the one and only local Centre forward to come the system CoE ad Academy in 30 years. From Darren Gale, Jimmy Loveridge, Scott Thyer, Keri Morgan James Loveridge, James Jones-Thomas, Geoff Bony, Owain Jones and a whole lot of forgotten forwards all failed to cut it. Cullen is in the Welsh number 9 "hot seat". Too hot for local lads. Even the one paying now cannot bury headers.

Iwan Morgan looked to be the man but got his head turned. That is where the money should have been going not Cullen.

"Swansea reject Cullen contract". Pure journalistic spin.

"Cullen rejects Clubs significantly improved offer" is better. They were in talks and Swansra made an offer of an improved contract of some sort. This for a so - so performer who is not getting any better. His stats are down on last year not up. He does not get his head in where it hurts. Cadogan was the same for the u21. A beautiful cross to be buried with his head and he dissolved.

I knows this was coming and compared him to Oxfords Mark Harris. Both second strikers. Cullen scored one goal in league 1 Harris already 14 witn four assists.

If teams want to pay him more then Swansea will release him for a reasonable transfer fee. Swansea like the player and liked Latibeaudiere too. They both wanted money they are not worth (at present). He if wants £10,000 he needs to bang in 15 goals next season bury his headers and at least hit the target with penalties.

You again prove you do not understand inflation. Inflation mean prices going up . Almost every every thing in life increases in value. From a pint of milk to football clubs.

Abramovich at Chelsea lost millions every month for years spending silly money on duds sometimes but still come out of Chelsea with a notional paper profit. I never thought he would get his money back but he did. (Subject to sanction rules)

Swansea under HJ hardly ever made profits. All spare cash were pumped into the business. Anyone with sense would understand selling shares was the only way to see profit. Some sSwansea owners recognised this. Some did not and lost.

Extension of an existing deal suggests no rise. It is a negotiating position for clubs to encourage players not to run down their deals. Wood for example is paid less for next season but can sign a three year deal if he wants to.

I expect Cullen to sign a brand new deal to supercede this deal if he can agree a deal. Wood is in the same place.

Better than the London "up skirting" trash many south Wales people read.

WoL has underperforming recently.Tom Coleman needs to stand his ground and travel with the team.

The Ospreys
at 12:59 25 Apr 2024

I expect Coleman is planning to replace the Ospreys ( who the club does not own) with the Swansea city Women's team. Let's face it this brand in growing and they could match the Ospreys pathetic crowds in time. I would give them a new name for branding purposes. Dinas Abertawe.

Welsh rugby thinking is bonkers. They make rules to encourage Welsh player to play in Wales then complain when English based Welshmen chose England. Their answer for small crowd is smaller stadiums. A strategy of shrinkage.

Welsh sports management. I prefer the 'Yanks' or the " sell outs".

I told you this was one for the sharpest brains. There is a distinction but the precedent is a mirror image. Sheffield Utd won their case and West Ham paid up.

Cardiff speculate on whether Salah would have improved the teams points situation. Only 2-3 points required

Shaff Utd speculated the reverse. How many points West Ham would NOT have got had the Argentinians not played. Carlton Cole was very young. Marlon Harewood was struggling.

It is not frivolous. There is a precedent in the Tevez / Mashcerano case. This is the reverse of this case as the Argentinians did play and were successful.

Cardiff argue they would have stayed up if the Argentina had played.

Sheffield utd argue West Ham would have gone down if the Argentinians had not played.

One for the sharper brains to understand. Plenty of sharp brains in court but it is France not UK.

Well the last owners built value and sold at the best time after 14 years. They kept SCFC in the PL for a 7 seasons. The current ideal textbook team Brentford still have some way to go and cracks are starting to appear. They did a trick Huw could not manage and retained their manager. This must be better.

PL clubs must now be worth well north of £200m. The big winners would be the late comers like Silverstein Coleman and Morris. Coleman hold his own destiny in his hands.

I had read about people like Erick Thordir but he is already engaged with Oxford United. A business partner of Levien in days gone by. Then they're are Silverstein s Saudi friends perhaps?

Kaplan and Levien have exemplary contracts just like Huw told us. They become rich by not losing money over the long term.

I believe the owners have a plan. If the team is around the top 6 to 8 they might hit it hard in January for an extra shove. They have friends with deep pockets from the DC days and others. Hopefully they are engaged and ready to strike if Swansea were in the Ipswich scenario.

Investors would se the chances of a pay day drop from 15 to 1 to 3 to 1. Next season 4th but struggling to keep up. Spend the cash Piroe on loan and another Ronald signing. It is not on the club interest to tell people what resources they have and what billionaires are in toe. I take them on trust. It is the Welsh passenger owner I do not trust. They acted without logic.
