UK by global standards is excellent. Illegals get benefits.

a) Food b) Homes c) Allowances.
Migrants come here for a better life. Betters schools, better health service better work prospects. Migrants are not charged for Schools or health services.
In many countries you have to pay for these services with insurance. The service is not great .
Illegal migrant want to work but cannot. So why have they they left France? |

Agitators can make a name for themselves by agitating. The whole thing could have kicked of from queue jumping or something trivial like that.
There was no video of the police woman getting a punch just the aftermath. The Policeman let his team down by kicking the man and will face consequences. He was possibly angry at the WPC being hit.

I follow NFL a bit and quite a few goals off the rails not realising the vast wealth they can earn.
One issue is the brain damage link to erratic behaviour. This might be masked by a dysfunctional family upbringing. Boxers and NFL players often suffer more than most.
I would like boxers to be limited in the number of hard fights they have.
Derek Chisora must have at least £10m put away. He does not need to fight anymore. The fans queuing to see him in meaningless fight v The Juggernaut Joe Joyce, do not care a jot about Derek or his young family.

UK has a welfare state. It is a huge draw for predominantly Muslim people coming from failed or unsuccessful states
Easy migration means the welfare state is put under pressure. Illegal immigrants cannot be given a free pass to these benefits unconditionally. It must be earned by doing the jobs seen as unpopular in the UK such as agriculture.

The Academy does not produce many strikers. Josh Thomas and Cullen have survived through the system but many have not.
Reuben Davies, Owain Jones, Jones Thomas Bony Junior. Etc.Going back to Scott Thyer and Chad Bond.
It is so poor it might be systematic. Glory Nzinga and Sami Heina are filling the gaps in a failing system perhaps.
Swansea were reportedly interested in James Crole a square jawed Welsh centre forward. He went to Pen y Bont. |

Swansea had the opportunity to sign him for pennies but did not (in my opinion) do their work properly and lost him to Coventry who's staff did see his potential and developed it. He is now an £80m footballer. Coventry got £20m for him and more to come perhaps another £10m.
It was a major blunder by staff who laughably prefered Cullen. Cullen stagnated while Gyorkeres flew. I am having doubts whether local Swansea insider actually know what they are doing with regards to forwards. Fans ignore this and blame the US owners for O'Riley instead after Martin blew his budget on Fisher.
Gyorkeres had done little before the age of 23. More than Hanratty for sure. Villa and Rangers liked his characteristics. The club must fully investigate and develop his potential as the local lads are failing. He is rated by Levey and his instincts have to be backed. Swansea need to develop no 9s. |

You are missing the point.
Swansea fans threw Gyorkeres under the bus after Cooper ignored him (like his countryman Petersen). The oft mentioned "he never did anything for us".
At 21 he was not properly assessed and developed and purchased. At 21 he had not pulled up trees like Piroe had not. The expert club people at the club should not have allowed this to happen given their truly abysmal record of developing forwards though the academy and CoE. The Kilgetty Messi' is as good as gets. I did not know he was playing v Millwall.
Goykeres was written off by the club and their fans who showed insufficient care and attention in an area where the club has been historically very weak.
This fellow is a 6 ft 2 in winger who has pace 21 years old who can play number 9. He is 4 years younger than Cullen and is known by Levey.
No one is getting over enthusiastic but give the guy a chance, The local lad has stagnated and shown little improvement. Like Piroe he was highly rated at 18 (scouted by Juventus) and faded. Coming to Swansea did wonders for a fading Piroe. |

Swansea u21 beat them 6-0 last season 9 months ago in the Nataniel Cup. with three double by players all of whom have moved on.

You are forensically looking at his stats and telling us he should not be at Swansea with those stats. Gyokeres did nothing much until he was 23 but was big strong powerful and skilful (but with terrible stats)
You look at potential. He has played up front and is 6ft 2 in. The club may "see something in him". They missed the boat badly with big Vic.
They sent Vic back. "No thanks - seems like a nice lad". Oh dear now with £60m buy out clause. No care no attention .
Centre forwards are rare and need care and attention. Swansea CoE not produced one in 30 years. What have the club insiders been doing? |

Both you and Rayns do not seem to learn from extremely nasty experiences for centre forwards at Swansea.
Number nines of power and potential must be treated with care and attention. Wales has not produced a big powerful lad since Iwan Roberts / Hartson time.
Swansea did not see the potential of Goykeres and turned down the opportunity to sign him despite Cooper having 6 months to assess.
VG came to Swansea at 21 full of potential but did not start seriously rumbling until he was 23.

You look at characteristics. This is why Villa and Rangers were interested. Strength focus bravery speed etc.
It could be he lost a bit of focus like many so that age. Knuckle down and kick on. Develop and add features to your game. Get better every year. Do not get comfortable on a long contact on £3k a week and think about you bank balance not your game.

Nothing negative. I say give Hanratty a chance. I hope he is tough nut fast and strong. 6 ft 2 in and ready to rock and roll. I have wanted to see the local n boy kick on but he has been given enough chances.
in a recent friendly beautiful move peach of a cross. The local boy has nowhere to go. Yelps of pain and he balloons it over the bar. This guy is in the wrong job. He was not made of the "right stuff" and this was not recognised through the age groups. He can stay anonymous as this is my perception only. |

I did a Harris / Cullen comparison a few months back. Both 25 both having their struggles. Both from South West Wales (also known a West Wales).
Both have had undistinguished times in the Championship with Cullen doing slightly better.
However looking at their records in league 1 Harris is way ahead of Cullen.
Cullen Lincoln City P 20 Goals 1
Harris Oxford U. P43 Goals 15
Cullen should go out on loan and earn a new deal. Score 25 goals for Newport. |
