Ollie Cooper is a useful squad player and presumably not the highest of paid. Contract to 2027.

He had a very good 2023-2024 season but regressed 2024-2025. At around 24 you want to see a sharp progression ideally.

He did not score enough goal given the position he plays. Only one last season although he was often sub

Weidel Congreve and Cotterill will all be given their chance. He is under pressure. Get in the gym stay on his feet more and sharpen up the finishing including heading the ball and he can feature.

Three academy lads battling for one place should keep everyone focussed. One will go on loan after preseason or in January I suspect.

There is another thread talking about Swansea s no show at Wembley 5 years back.. Jones is no one s favourites but he WON. A team recently hammered by Wrexham.

To quote Bananarama on her "it ain't what you do but the way that you do it".

That actually fits nicely as they did a song about Nathan Jones as well.

Lloyd Jones the Charlton Centre Back was their player of the year and done better than Low in recent months. He may have played with Darling at Cambridge United. 2021-2023.

He is 6 ft 3 ins 29 years old and v was voted CAFC player of the year.

I remember his from Wales u17 and u19 international while at the Liverpool academy. His Dad is Welsh living in Plymouth. He was highly rated and one of the few to switch from Wales to England. Jonathan Bond a keeper was another to defect and the same time.

He ended up in Luton in the Championship but did not cut it at 24 and was without a club. He started again at league 2.

He has shown admirable determination to almost get back t the Championship improving every year from the age of 25. Brandon Cooper and Cameron Evans are on the same journey. He could be a good stop gap for Swansea if they lose to Orient. Wales caps are still open to him.

"Cooper downed tools as he was off because the board didn't back him". This is your narrative and is potentially libellous.

If that is the case he was unfit to be employed by Swansea city FC. Like all managers he wanted more. I recall reading he wanted Gyorkeres out and replaced by Keinan Davis.

He was employed by the cub and needed to trust the clubs decisions. A Forest he had players coming in he had no role in picking Jojo Shelvey on £80k a week.

At Wembley he may have thought he was out gunned and played for penalties.

No it has not. I believe he left perhaps because performance were poor and the finacial accounts even worse. The club lost £17m to July 23 and £15m to July 24. He may have made a family decision.

This a gives next season no room to manoeuvre with FFP rules. Darling has cost the club £2.5m in wages and a notional knock down selling price fee.

Watson, Duff and Williams were all fired. Swansea finished close to top ten.

Many respected poster on here do not agree with the cub playing hardball. Playing soft ball worked with Cabango but not Darling. Apparently both "felt disrespected " earlier in the season.

I suggested ultimatums were 12 months late and told i was "clueless". "Here here" chanted another.

A Ukrainian guy from Plymouth is seen as an alternative from Wrexham and Birmingham. If the recruitment is sound he can be replaced especially on the money he was on.

Israel needs to find away to get Palestinians off their sacred land as they see it.

There are not many options with h the high birth rate in Palestine and Israel and limited resources especially
water. A war will allow for mass clearance.

Russia is ding it in Mariupol. Preexisting people some who may have Ukrainian sympathies are seeing their home taken off them and sold to Siberians.

This is how land grabbers work. Russia and Israel. First Gaza then the West Bank. Ths Palestinian state will be ended by gradual strangulation with the rope tightened mm by mm.

They gave a long term plan. It happened in Wales and took 400 years. 1066 to 1463. Shrewsbury fell in 1068.

Rhian Brewster out of contract. He needs a fresh start and he played his best senior professional football at Swansea.

Neither Sheff untied nor RB himself want to stay with SUFC in the Premier league. 4 goals in the Championship at SUFC does not suggest a good time for him in the PL.

Ultimatums at the end of a contract is pretty useless. Darling will see he ultimatum and discuss it with is agent and chuckle. "Do not worry about that Harry. Take your time mate. They need at least two CBs".

Coleman was too weak. The time for ultimatum's was 12 months ago . Then the conversation with his agent was a very different story. "They would not put me in the reserves would they really?"

"Who know Harry it is your risk"

"If they put you on the transfer list they are serious and you are due a cut".

"Best to string them along and suggest there have been no talks".

£1.5m and another £1m in saved wages for a bit of hardball. Darling has been playing ducks and drakes.

"He is a strong runner". O'Brien also had great movement. I defer to others but it seemed to me that with Martin, Williams and Grimes Swnsea did not promote running with one static player passing to another static player. It was dull.

Sheehan has bought in movement and running with instant improvements. Whitaker Lowe and Abdullai were all runners and all dispatched cheaply. Lowe's numbers were very respectable. Williams and Martin had no use for him. Ronald and Eom have improved under Sheehan.

Trump should side up with the EU and UN and considering sanctions with a deadline for an equitable two state solution.

He can then partner with Rafah to rebuild Gaza. I suspect Israel want to annex Gaza completely and get access to offshore oil in a decade or two.

They are not getting to the Premier league with signings like Callum Robinson that is for sure.
Darling has Premier league potential but not PL clubs in for him it seems.

Perhaps SCFC should be in for the Ukrainian at Plymouth. Some company for Kuharevych.

Not even close. He was a relatively cheap signings and performed in line with his valuation. Similar to Cullen. One hope Cullen continues to improve.

He is entitled to jet his hair down and look a bit silly but we have all been there in our 20s .

Derby have no game left left him relax without comment. I He is a good professional.

"Worst ever signing" not even close.
