Watching the full game (Liverpool)
at 05:22 24 Feb 2014

Is there anywhere online I can watch the whole game? Preferably with English commentary, or no commentary at all.. I know there were a few places to watch the whole Cardiff game but mostly with foreign language commentary.

Haven't seen any of the goals, or know when they were scored so would probably prefer to watch the whole game rather than ten minutes on MOTD2.

Cheeeeeeeeeers..

Bielsa would also be my first choice. Also watched their incredible run in the Europa League with a very, very young and exciting squad. Attacked to the nines, were maybe a little vulnerable at the back, but would be back to the Martinez days if we got there.

He'd be as good as anyone at getting half the Spanish Armada we've accumulated on side. Tbh, it'd be nice to have an all singing, all dancing manager - someone who's not afraid to stand up for 90 minutes barking orders and doing the YMCA with tactical gestures. It'd be an improvement on Laudrup's sullen, glum "I'm missing Re-Run's of Deal or No Deal" for this lounging in his Racing Seats.

Bielsa for me. Graeme Jones with Monks as deputy would be okay for me too. Bergkamp would be very hit or miss.

Anybody, anybody other than Paolo di Canio.

Laudrup - Sky Sources.

I'd imagine they were probably brought in by Monk/Curtis/The Board .. And thus breaking the camels back and Us parting company with Laudrup?

Laudrup - Sky Sources.
at 04:13 6 Feb 2014

Don't know if any of you care now, given it being more important to look ahead rather than back but was just listening to Sky Sports News Radio who claim their "sources" (always wondered who they were) claim Laudrup had rejected Nacer Chadli and Lewis Holtby deals when offered to him by the board. And by the time he'd changed his mind the deals were already off.

One or both of those players would have greatly improved our side, and Chadli especially would have suited Laudrup's style, so why would he reject the chance to sign someone he wanted last summer? All was clearly not well..

Be interesting to hear Laudrup's next interview, wherever, and whenever, that may be.

Best midfielder...
at 07:49 1 Feb 2014

Being only 21, I can only comment on the "modern era"..

And though both are very different midfielders, it'd have to be Leon or Bodde. And while I loved Bodde, you couldn't not give it to Leon - still about with many a world class player in his pocket

My special mention goes to Gylfi though. Some talent - if only we had him longer!0

Powerful little winger ala Nathan Dyer, and only 21 years old. A signing with potential, I think.

Be interesting to see if Leicester accept.

Jeffrey Schlupp

Sky Sources reporting Swansea City have made a £2.5m approach for Leicester City's winger-come-striker Jeffrey Schlupp.

A couple of seasons ago he tore many a Championship side apart, but seems to have stagnated lately. Interesting move, but definitely confirms that we've told Tom Ince to feck off!

Any updates on Ince?

He can't sign for Sunderland as they already have their two players loaned from other teams in Ki and Borini - we're obviously not getting Ki back and can't see them letting Borini go either.. So unless they're getting him on a permanent deal they're out of the running.

Hull are also in the same boat with Livermore on loan from Spurs and Graham on loan from Sunderland - although they're eager to cut the loan move short, but Sunderland don't want him back (likely hell drop to the championship with a whole host of teams interested).

Which leaves ourselves and Palace.. Tough call for him and Daddy. Both nowhere near his family.

Cardiff home, long shot..
at 00:01 25 Jan 2014

Appreciate it's a long shot, but does anyone have one spare home ticket for the Derby. Was due to work it but have since managed to get it off and thought maybe someone else might have a spare.

Full price and a pint offered.

Reply or email me at josephh_17@hotmail.com if you have one or know of anyone who has/may have. Thanks.

Leigh Dineen talks about a Sugar Daddy in Issue #23 of Jack Swan
at 07:46 23 Jan 2014

This is all written in the match day programme?

Surely can't be good for morale for the likes of Chico Flores reading the piece about him.

Cracking interview with Leigh Dineen though.

Deadline Day
at 04:02 23 Jan 2014

Can anyone confirm the time the transfer window shuts? I'm assuming Friday, 31st January but at 11pm as has been the case in the last few, or midnight?

Also, can see us being involved somehow. Neil Taylor to Fulham could be one going out, still expect us to sign a striker and a winger - although given recent links it looks like a holding midfielder/back up center back seems high on the agenda, given our current injuries.

Tom Ince has had his bidding war that he and Daddy were obviously after, but we'll see what comes of it. Be one to the wire too because Blackpool won't want to lose such a talent for nothing in the summer, surely?

Roll on, Jim White Day..

Player Loans
at 06:58 14 Jan 2014

With a lot of talk recently linking us with loan moves for the likes of Sterling, Zaha and Pillington, it made me think what other players we could loan. I thought of John Guidetti, but then saw that Stoke were nearing getting him.

Then I saw this:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25720354

Pay special attention to the line about needing to sign Ireland first as a club can only have two loaned players at any one time.

With Vazquez and Lamah on loan deals, that rules us out of any loan deals this month, unless i) Laudrup makes Lamah or Vazquez' loans permanent, or ii) someone knows a loop-hole around it.

Looks like Huw's going to have to get the chequebook out!

Raheem Sterling
at 06:06 3 Jan 2014

Was linked with us in November, and now the Mirror says that ML is in discussions to agree a loan deal for him. Rodgers has said all along he wants to loan him out if he gets an experienced winger in during January - with them looking ever likelier to sign Mohammed Salah this month, this deal looks like it could well happen. We urgently need a winger and he's one of the only three I can see coming.

Zaha is another, but he may favour returning to Crystal Palace, and Tom Ince who appears to be available, but might favour going somewhere else..

What do we make of Sterling? Good enough as cover until our new manager (presuming Laudrup leaves in January) can sign someone on a permanent basis in the close season.

I'd be happy to have him and another striker to fill us through to Summer. As nice a lad as Vazquez is, he couldn't hit a barn door from a foot away.

Someone looking for a nibble... Okay, I'll play along.

Struggling to sell out a small stadium in the Premier League? Alright, the Liberty is the smallest in the League, but this season is the first time in the three seasons we've been in it where we haven't sold out a home game. All 38 home games before this season were sold out in the home end.

Sooner be bold enough to admit defeat and get back on track, than be taken over by foreign owners changing things left, right and centre. Red? Bluebirds?

Umm.. that should cater to your need for attention and nibbles.

As for the Derby, it's not at the forefront of my mind at the moment. We have a game before we play you. You can wait your turn.

The reason why Swansea is average in the PL in the moment?
at 03:14 19 Oct 2013

I don't know, I think people are being a little harsh on the team. Look at the teams we've played, bar Southamptkn away we've done well. Lost to teams you'd consider any points to be a bonus. These next couple of months will be huge for us, against teams we need to pick points up from.

For me, performances have been there, it's just coming up against top opposition.

Perhaps I'm alone in thinking this.

I see it happening.

Tremmel,

Rangel, Amat, Williams, Tiendalli

Shelvey De Guzman

Dyer Michu Pozuelo

Vazquez

... Spanish Armada out in force!

Edit: Think Ben and Routs could do with a rest, and Poz and Tiendalli deserve to start a few games.

Bony for the last 20 minutes perhaps, would like to finally see a bit more of Lamah at some point.

Wigan Athletic's support

Feel for their fans, getting the stick they get.

Yes, I'm aware this is a Swansea forum yada-yada-yada (cue some sarcy quote from Darran et al)

But their fans are loyal, and sure - not strong in numbers but loyal. And can't knock the 3,000 travelling Wiganers tonight to Belgium for their Europa League game against Zulte Waregem.

Got a lot of time for them, even before Martinez did what he did.
