This +1. Everything about today was handled fantastically. Great to see the fans turn up for this in big numbers. Very proud of my club. Kudos to the celebs and ex-players for their contribution and in particular to Jose - never imagined I'd see him playing in goal wearing a QPR shirt. Fabulous stuff. |
Still think Mourinho is a downstairs front-bottom and going in goal was still a bit 'look at me, look at me' however you cannot underestimate the interest in the antics of the Man U manager. His appearance would have given a great deal of publicity to the tragedy. So begrudgingly fair play to him. Has gone up in my estimation and I never thought I'd say that.
First time I've watched a game at LR at home on the box since the 2-2 cup draw with Liverpool (one for the kids!) How good did the place look!!

He had about 200 selfies taken with QPR fans before and after the penalties. I have to say Mourinho, you are a top man. Was brilliant with the young QPR fans today. |
Halfway through the shootout he also gave his gloves to a couple of kids in the crowd. Apparently he had been there all day and not just turned for 90 mins and then gone home. |  | | |

There is an alternative to the 60 mins highlights on Sky 1 and that is the whole 3hrs 22 mins or so on Catch Up. I can get it on Now TV but other systems should have it as well.

was away weekend so recorded the game, was fantastic, the tv coverage with Adam Hills was very good. Ferdinand came across brilliantly as did everyone at QPR
Was a good game as well, Mourinhio was amusing as the panto villain, of our old heroes Trevor Sinclair looked like he could still play for the first team as did Clint Hill. Ferdinand was pure class until his achilies went, Gallen looked like he'd eaten a few magic hats but was still a class above most other players. Clive WIlson as well, absolute legend that bloke.
Great gesture to have survivors and fireman play a part in the game, didn't expect that and made the event stand out.
I felt very proud watching that, the club have been brilliant setting this game up really helping everyone involved. |  | | |

and I'm not saying this as a negative...just the post asking seemed to suggest it shouldnt be televised. Sky, like any other TV company, televise what they think people will view. In this case, it meant a very worthy cause/event got televised which i'm glad about. | | | |

Watched the 60minute Sky 1 highlights programme last night. What a fantastic event and I dont think it could have panned out any better if they had tried.
Very proud of all involved and such a great sellout. I was gutted I couldn't be there and having seen the highlights I am even more gutted.
Well down QPR it is great to get such positive coverage once in a while.
