This +1. Everything about today was handled fantastically. Great to see the fans turn up for this in big numbers. Very proud of my club. Kudos to the celebs and ex-players for their contribution and in particular to Jose - never imagined I'd see him playing in goal wearing a QPR shirt. Fabulous stuff. |  |

He took it very well. Even when preparing for the first corner against him with the likes of Bircham and Ferdinand deciding to 'rough him up a bit' on the goal line. The whole day was a joy and done in exactly the right tone. Would be great to think that the amount raised will get somewhere close to seven figures once the text donantions and sponsorship has been taken into account. [Post edited 2 Sep 2017 22:52]

it was great seeing the likes of Wilson, Impey and especially sir les back out in front of the loft wearing the Rangers shirt.
Seaman, sinton and Sinclair too, brought back a lot of great memories.
Gallen and bircham seemed to be having a right old battle. Surprised no ones mentioned that moment when Gallen was about to shoot and bircham flung himself head first to try block tackle him with his head! |  |

Thoroughly enjoyed the 'Game4Grenfell.'
Great turn out as well from QPR fans which was especially pleasing to see.
All in all, if we could approach our 'bread and butter' business, winning football games, ALL football games, with the same professionalism as we do community work, we'd be one of the best football clubs in England, without a shadow of a doubt. |  | | |

It was a strange morning and early afternoon getting ready and travelling up to Loftus Road to see a game not involving my team.
However, when the squads came out I realised it was even better than usual as my beloved blue and white hoops were playing my beloved hoops in away kit!
What a great day, great fun, lots of laughs and a fitting tribute which must have raised 'loads of money' for a truly deserving cause.
Not a bad game either plenty of effort and action, Trev's fantastic goal, penalties and the opportunity for some survivors, volunteers and fire fighters to pull on some boots.

Fair play to Les, Tony and all involved, QPR have done really well here and done and acted with compassion and distinction and hopefully, those who were and will remain affected by Grenfell, got something out of it.
