Christ.

Oh well. They’re winning the trophy. City will probably lose to Brighton too just to ruin everything.

Monumental achievement, especially with Salah out. Fair play to them.

Why the ante Scallys?
Rather them than that cheating Kunt Suarez
Thoroughly enjoyed watching that👍

That corner was genius. Worthy of winning any game.

Unf*vkingbelievable game, WHAT a performance by Liverpool. Barca were unmanned!! I honestly don't give a fig about hating Liverpool, I just love football when it's great. Amazing.

Oh God, how many days now listening to Christ knows how many insuferable pricks banging on about Shitterpool?

Unplug me now.

Don’t think you can write off Spurs with Son back either. Should be another good game.

Has Warburton taken over yet?

everytime I get jaded with football it always pulls me back in

i've got no love for Liverpool for but this Liverpool team are genuinely fantastic to watch and never give up. Klopp is a wonderful manager.

that was just pure entertainment. you'd have to have a heart like a lump of coal not to applaud that 4th goal. Unless it was Chelsea instead of Liverpool.

Agreed. I can’t bear the legend of Liverpool, but they were magnificent. How they get that performance out of odds and ends like Milner, Henderson and Origi is a wonderful mystery. What a great competition this year.

Exactly. The ajax performances. The last two premiership games. People on here bemoaning pool fans bragging about tonights result. If it was us would we be bragging? Football has been great this season including us staying up after the worst start to a season ever

+1

Liverpool fans are not very likeable but Klopp is and the team are much easier to tolerate than when they had e.g Suarez (irony alert).

Genuinely neutral about them in both League and Eurothingy this year, though I'll support Ajax against anyone but us.

Tbf they were all over Barca for most of the first leg and unlucky to lose 3-0. While the corner was clever, the Barcelona defending there was absolutely criminal. As was the keeper's attempted save of the second.

Come on Ajax!

Going totally against the grain of most of the comments on this thread, but was gutted the scallys went through, fcuking hate them.

As an older fan I can remember going to anfield in the late 70s/early 80s with the ob handing out leaflets at the station basically giving you advice on how to avoid being attacked/stabbed etc.

Plus they're the title tea leafs and prevented us and many others competing in Europe in the late 80s so c'mon spuds or preferably Ajax and really hoping city don't slip up against Brighton

i can totally understand this but for my generation it's Manchester United who take that glory hunter crown and their downfall has been very joyful for me personally

I'm amazed about the amount of hatred for Liverpool yet they watch the game. I couldn't care less who won and didn't watch it. Plus, I was at a cup final watching managerless Uxbridge win some silverware at Hanwell Town.

It just comes across as bitter and jealous, doesn't it?

Whilst the spiteful side of me is jealous, overall i'm delighted to see any British team come from 3-0 down to beat Barcelona. Phenomenal achievement.

I am pleased for them. Went to a match in the 1990s when visiting the city vs Blackburn. Ended up in an Irish pub and got talking to a few Liverpool fans. One guy came back with a double whiskey and stated there you go Liverpool hospitality. Obviously a lot nicer than the hospitality shown in the 1970s and 80s.

That was something else, must go down as one of the best performances ever given who they were playing, who they had out and how far they were behind. No feelings towards Liverpool one way or the other, as long as it's not Man Utd or Chelsea I'm not fussed really, but found it quite emotional at the end regardless. Pure sport, love it.

And how can you not love those two full backs of theirs?
