Let the great British brain drain begin, I hope Scotland and Northern Ireland go their own way they don’t deserve to be dragged into the dirt by the navel-gazing xenophobes in england.

might be worth noting that without Scotland the Labour Party would be virtually incapable of ever forming another government.

And if Boris makes the English boundaries fairer (at present the Tories need at least 3% more of the overall vote than Labour to win an election) then they’ll find it even harder to get back in.

As for the brain drain, you have no idea how many of the ‘brains’ intended to move their wealth out the country if Corbyn had got in. The ‘money’ was set to go this morning.

Be completely honest, you have absolutely no idea how many had of those “brains” had intended to move their money out of the country, there’s a considerable number of those brains who don’t pay the correct amount of tax they should do anyway.

What is the case however, people are leaving and less are coming in. I hope it continues too, who in their right mind would want to live in a country as divisive and unwelcoming as england. Once the blame can no longer be apportioned to labour and the EU I wonder who the conservatives will blame next?

Very generous and faithful of them to trust you with intricate knowledge of their finances and intended transactions.

Well they’ve got 5 years to prove you wrong or right.

All very well you slagging off the British public but at some point you’ll need to get your head out the sand and listen.

It’s the denial that I just don’t get.

In the end it looks like the less well off North voted Tory, while the more well off London voted Labour. WTF?!

Oh well never overestimate the great British public - just keep shouting the word Brexit and that should get the votes in.

Another five years of austerity sadly. Really hope I'm proved wrong.

Corbyn totally at fault for this. Far too idealist and out of touch with our utterly mental electorate. You can’t help people if you aren’t in charge so play the fking game. They lost mining towns to a fat Etonian who openly despises them.

A small consolation is Nigel Dodds losing his seat to Sinn Fein.

Was just watching one of Corbyns younger cronies screaming at old Labour on the couch and she just seemed blind to what has happened overnight.

Laughable. So not only do you know what the brains would’ve done with their money, now you also know who I voted for.

JC should have gone after 2017! He couldn’t beat the hapless Theresa May whose campaign was dire, and yet rode the wave of ‘ohh Jeremy Corbyn’ when the reality was, he lost and the signs of his being unelectable was the message coming out of their heartlands.

As the poster above me said, the Labour left don’t get it! Collectively they are incapable of comprehending the simple fact: while the UK just about remains conservative with a little ‘c’, as long as our backsides point south, it will never be socialist with a capital ‘S’!

You’d think after the likes of Foot, Kinnock and Miliband that message might have got home. But no!

I don’t doubt JC has decent principles, and God knows that’s something Johnson has never had, but the bottom line for Labour, you have to be electable first. And that’s why Blair got in and JC never would.

I also think the greatest irony of it all; JC was a Brexiteer! I don’t believe for one second he voted remain and so while one half of the Labour Party worried about the non-existent threat of Swinson’s lot, they alienated their core who voted leave. A JC lead Brexit might well have been a safer bet then letting that utter cockcheese loose with the future of the UK.

Yeah London Labour mp's more worried about losing their seats to LD's and being remainers trying to stop leaving instead of stopping the Tories. and not giving a shite about Northen Labour leavers.

Reap what you sow.

Same for Swinson.

I can't for the life of me imagine how they thought they could win an election with him at the helm. As a consequence of their foolishness, look what we've ended up with.

As someone who works in the NHS, the sense of 'oh fcuk' is palpable. Would be very happy to be wrong but I cannot see the NHS being here in 5 years. Good people leaving all the time, no one coming in to replace, talk of extra nurses but where will they be coming from?!

Its just experience.. The majority of British voters are in the centre .just off to the left or right .Thats where the votes are to put a party into government . Corbyn is so far to the left that he makes Johnson look far right ..he isnt and now he doesnt have to.placate the handful of tories who are . Watch him move to the right centre now .He is a maverick who sails close to the wind at times .Where he is accused of racism take the time to read what he wrote in context ..and then pitch it against the thuggishness of Momentum facilitating anti semitism against people who lost millions in gas chambers less than 100 years ago its not even close to being similar and the British people will not stand for it .

My sentiments in a nutshell

I reckon this could be a 15 pager..... I’ll not be on it again
Politics globally is fcukd

Can we now just do what we’ve done for centuries? Get on with it and make the best of it?

I’ll ignore all the sanctimonious, holier than thou, far more intelligent than you brigade and just rub along the best I can looking after those around me as best as possible; with house music, QPR and boobs at the centre of it all

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
