MW was getting a bit uppety in the interview after the transfer window closed about comments he’d seen/read about us giving up on the season in February and accepting mid-table. Perhaps, on reflection, he was getting agitated because he thought we were setting our sights too high?

I quite enjoyed the 1st half and stupidly thought that we could win it if we played as well in the 2nd.And If we had a proper striker of course.
They raised their game in the 2nd half and we let ours drop again.Luckily I had to leave 5 mins early in order to get my train,but I guess I didn’t miss much.

I am abroad and watched on the club's stream.
I thought we were the better team and in control with the three points there to be taken, up until they scored. After that we were very poor.
Am I the only one who thinks both goals were dodgy. First one their forward launches himself away from the ball and into Hall knocking him over. Looking for a penalty but playing on while we froze and they scored. For me, we should have had a free kick.
Second goal, the penalty, looked like a dive, saw the leg and threw himself into it. | | | |
