The most pyhsical pain you've ever experienced 01:57 - Feb 28 with 5117 viewsFredManRave

I was going to post his on the "Random Irritations" thread but I would pay good money for my current pain to just be an irritation. So here's a lovely new Saturday night thread for us all to share our worst physical moments on. And I don't think this theme has actually been done before.

First of all, I should be realistic and a man of the 20's and say Nix is in first place with child birth.

I'm voting second being sciatic nerve pain. I've had it a week now and despite 4 injections of Flexicamin B12 in my R's in the last four days I am still in absolute agony. And it's actually getting worse. So I'm now not even convinced it's the sciatic nerve as those injections should at least alleviate the pain. So MRI scan on Monday to hopefully clarify exactly what the problem is but fcuk me it's a constant pain, I'm unable to get into a comfortable position and have to drug myself up with all sorts just to get through the night (silver lining).

Looking forward to hearing your stories...

I've got the Power.

1. Ripped big toe nail half off my toe. Didn’t think too much of it till it got infected. It was then twice the size of my other big toe. I was very seriously considering cutting my toe off, it hurt that much. The pulsating pain was absolutely insane. And I kept asking myself how an extremity can cause so much untold pain?

2. Migraine, well what I think a migraine is. Was at work alone and all of a sudden I had severe pain just above my left eye behind the skull. I had to crouch in the corner and ride it out for around an hour. Couldn’t stand daylight so closed everything up. Felt like pressure was building up and something was going to pop out the front of my head. Very strange and never felt it again after it subsided.

3. The aftermath of having 3 wisdoms teeth out. My face resembled that of the Family Guy character Quagmire. My neck had a yellow/brown bruising from the OP and was swollen.

Still nothing comes close to point 1. How my toe is still attached is a mystery!

I was helping my Grandad burn off his calves' horns when I was about seven or so. Well I was standing by in my shorts and nice trainers while he did all the work. The work involved holding the poor calf, feeling for the budding horn and taking a tube of acid and smearing it on the bud of the horn. For which you need the strength of Hercules and the patience of Job, and a young Cockney kid with shorts and nice trainers to ask you a million questions at the speed of sound.

When it was all done he handed me the acid tube and told me for God's sake put it somewhere safe. Which I did. I put it in my front shorts pocket. Afterwards, when the Doctor, the Nurse, the Priest and the Coroner had left my bedside, I snuck a look at the testicular area. It was like someone had spilled a tin of Heinz Ravioli down my shorts.

I was too stunned to cry.

I feel sorry for kids today. I remember (sort of) helping castrate calves on my holidays. You can't do that on a Play Station.
