So. Bit under the radar on Saturday, but given the issue of Seny and the AFCON, quite pleasing to see several confident saves with his feet. Would be nice to see more of how he deals with crosses.

All the usual problems you have with young keepers around physicality, command of area, decision making, bit of a nightmare with one kick, but all that comes in time. Made three or four really, really good saves in tough positions - one incredibly brave. Looked promising.

I was impressed with Murphy Cooper t'other day. As you say needs to improve the command of his area but would like to see him get a loan move to the National League.

Murphy seems to be well regarded at the club. You see him making up the numbers in the training vids and in matchday warm up sessions.

I think he could do with a season on loan to a league two or National League team.

He look a little nervous to me, and needs some time in mens football.

I think you're right, they do. Plus they don't catch the ball as much as they used to way back when, but that may be due to lighter balls moving more in the air.
