TBF many thought, if not said, the same things, and maybe with not QUITE the level of hatred. TBF (again) to the poster, I'm not going to call him/her out and also we can only hate what we love, but it does make sobering reading - posted a mere 7 months ago now

"Pick up your icebox, have a sh@t in it, take all your usual post match drivel and just go man.

The Knighthood needs to be taken back off of "Sir" Les as well. He's not fit for purpose.

Club is a shambles.
It's a shambles presided over by the current lot.
The transfers are a disgrace, all the Eze money wasted putting together a rudderless, clueless and downright weak as pi$$ physically squad. We look totally unfit, devoid of any tactical nouse and more than ever you must be able to smell the relegation that has been stenching around this club for a few years. Bentford Sleeper Agent Warburton the final piece in the jigsaw.

Do hope the Clubshop has got lots of plastic bedsheets and quilts in stock for Christmas.... the bedwetter club will have grown considerably by the time 2021 kicks in.

Season 2020/21... was going to be the one where all the prudence kicked in wasn't it? FFP like a millstone for loads of other clubs and a really weak Division???
Well I've only seen one team weak, looking a beaten rabble with no belief, no battle and zero bottle. They play in hoops and are shameful.

I'll retire back to my self imposed exile... the usuals will be on digging it and giving it the here he is again.. "Ooooooooh... you're never here when we win" --- right enough, we don't that often.

6 wins in 38 is it?
Over 100 goals conceeded in a calendar year

But just who'll do the job they cry? Plenty, it's just I wouldn't trust the current leadership to pick a nipple out of a barrel of boobs - clueless w@nkers to a man.

League One Roadmaps.. £3.85, get 'em while they're hot.

See ya"

Bottom line is that unfortunately there are one or two posters who will only appear after a defeat or when things are going badly.

Shame that's what happens, but that's life I suppose.

I don't think that's because they are negative though, to be honest.

I think as people we're more likely to moan about things than praise and, also, it's far easier to come up with many observations/points after a defeat than it is after a win.

I agree 80s Boy. I have come to realise that some posters do only seem to appear after defeats or when things are not going well but that is not really surprising really as that is when passions run high. I actually do the opposite and post more when things are going well but I live in an unrealistic rose-tinted specs world where I always think things will be ok.

How the hell am I still thinking that supporting QPR FFS. I really should have learned.

"Pick up your icebox & have a sh!t in it" is an objectively funny line though, I think we can all agree on that

I think winning also stifles debate so people don't tend to remember who said what.

Don't forget that, according to loftboy's poll on 19th December 2020, the day we drew with Wycombe, and we hadn't won for a month, the fans wanted Warburton to stay by a 2:1 margin.

easy with hindsight but it did look an absolute mess at Christmas. 4 expensive loan signings saved our arse to be honest.

I'm don't necessarily agree with a lot of the comments from back then but can see why people were saying that. I thought Warburton should go after Swansea and fully expected him to, full credit to him for turning it around

Unlike you Dave, but you've missed the point and ignored my reply to you.

Of course sacking MW was a valid opinion at the time, but Eze money wasn't wasted, the club were not a "shambles" and advocating sacking the director of football each time you change manager was, and still is, lunacy.

so a passionate fan, after yet another defeat in what was shaping up to be an horrendous season (bear in mind the stats provided predated the current season and demonstrated the fact that we were certainly, if not in decline, had been a lot more than unlucky to date) vents post match.

you may find the choice of tone excessive but equally hindsight and sitting on the fence are the easy option. I can certainly understand the sentiment in the post whereas is digging someone out months later anything more than just being a bit snidey?

having watched us capitulate or lack any spine/game management/ sh1thousery for 36 games and repeatedly turn victory into draws or defeats it was a valid if bad tempered post at worst. Why couldn't you just post a generic comment praising the turnaround and criticism in general of those calling for MW's head?

given the way this board has turned on itself primarily into a collection of people just being antagonistic to each other for the sake of it; you seem to have continued the tone in what appears to be no more than a slightly camouflaged dig.

Hopefully we can all try and play nicely going forwards

I'm trying to 'play nicely' but you're really not reading my posts.

For the FINAL time I did NOT call anyone out - could have easily named the poster but didn't.

Someone above hilariously deliberately searches for the poster and then says lifes too short to comment further - slight double standards there I think!

If you can't bring yourself to agree with me, read AH's post.

I'll repeat, yes of course people were saying MW should go and that we were in trouble - but even at that time calling the club a shambles, saying Les should be sacked and that the Eze money was wasted were and are still complete nonsense.

'- but even at that time calling the club a shambles, saying Les should be sacked and that the Eze money was wasted were and are still complete nonsense.'

It's a bizarre opinion to hold now but up until January? It may not have been your opinion but there's no denying that it was an acceptable position to hold and fans had the right to express such views.

Everything looks different with the benefits of hindsight.

Can't agree - 19th and 9th is NOT the difference between the club being a 'shambles' or not, same for Les's position and as fans we have no idea how exactly Eze money spent, but did Chris Willock or Rob Dickie, for example, really look a 'waste' - even then?

The second half of last season WAS an amazing turnround. I was convinced we'd be in a dogfight at the start of last season and was scraping around for three worse teams. At Christmas, as Clive said, we were a lethal combination of playing well, being unclinical, being unlucky. but ultimately losing. We were going one way and Warburton would have gone if that had carried on.

But it didn't. The four loans turned us around completely to the point that this season is the first one for ages where I fancy us to get a win on the first game.

So, people go over the top when they're disappointed because we lose; hardly new news is it? Before t'internet, that would have mean screaming and shouting to no-one in particular; now there's a medium to vent. This is a passionate game and we all go too far one way or the other frequently. And, do you know what, sometimes people get things wrong...

Can we go out yet?

I can think of several posters on here that had MW been sacked they'd have been crowing forever about how wrong me and others were for supporting him. seems fair enough to call out those that would have delighted had they been proved 'right'.

Bare bones.

yeah, the op (who I generally like and find interesting) could have written about the great turn-around we've had and what a different atmosphere there is now, an uplifting and unanimously supported post, I would imagine.
But, even if inadvertently, he's basically called someone out, which will always cause division.
Yellow card for Pinner!

Take it on the chin. you fked up.
At best its a misjudged post, at worst its a snide dig at a fellow QPR supporter.

As others have said the views were valid at the time and funny, if bad tempered.

Nothing to see here, move along.
