Not sure if hiring the successive Austrians at Barnsley were part of his role there but this should be a good indicator of how committed they are to the new DOF. Yet perhaps the most disconcerting part is that many supporters will agree with the player’s verdict, via Whatsapp, that Forest’s attackers had “no f*cking help from the centre-midfielders and no stepping up from the defenders.”

Exactly this - this stain on humanity will want to slide into a role vacated by a successful manager who is moving to the Prem or a higher league. He wont be going to Florist or any other side going backwards! That's also why Fat Francis has not re-emerged - also waiting for the soft landing not the firefighting reversing a slide to oblivion club!!

Steve Cooper is the obvious choice and the favourite. I was sure Hughton would sort them out, been such a good manager over the years but that club look a real mess

I expect I would have been calling for Hughtons head if I was a Forrest fan but from the outside I think sacking him dispite his poor record so far is the wrong solution.Hughton is a very good manager and a decent bloke the problem is obviously elsewhere and for that reason I hope Terry gets the job but I expect like his mate Lampard he will want a club with a pile of cash to spunk on new players.
