Disagree Glasgow Rangers are flying, more like Celtic have dropped 8 points in maybe last 9?
Glasgow Rangers were dreadful under Beale and while the new Manager has made them harder to beat, they are not playing well. Watched them get beat by Aris Limassol who are ranked 250th odd in Europe and they were dreadful.
The fans are still raging about the £12m wasted by Beale in the summer spend and with a wage bill that's higher than Celtic's, Beale has left them in a precarious financial position. We dodged a bullet, big-time. |  | | |

At the same time, football is something insanely else. it doesn't matter how good/bad you are as a manager - or even whether you've been bombed out of/resigned from the same club in the past as they'll often take you back regardless (Wilder at Sheff U, Critchley at Blackpool, Ollie and us). This. Celtic have been in very poor recent form and have some key players out injured atm. Rangers are not playing particularly well and have benefitted from some very questionable VAR assistance in some recent games. Were losing at Aberdeen the other week late on and were given a pen for the lightest of shirt pulls. Rangers defender did exactly the same to an Aberdeen player in the league cup final on Sunday and VAR didn't even look at it. Bloke running the VAR is from a Rangers supporting family...
Anyway, Celtic haven't been great since losing Postecoglu but were still well ahead until two recent bad defeats. With the injured players back and possibly some January transfers I'd still expect them to win the league. Also Rangers still have European games to deal with whereas Celtic have now finished with that for this season. I've no doubt the CL game was a factor in recent poor league results. That said, both the league defeats are games they should be winning regardless. | | | |
