That works both ways, remember
Its actually quite enjoyable, when we win the odd game and perform well and as a hobby, its actually great when we can enjoy the good times.
Yes we have a few bad games, but minimising the good times and going into all out rants of doom and despair, when we lose occasionally, crikey what a life to lead.
Agree with Ned, some posters on here clearly get zero enjoyment out of being QPR fans. And nothing gives some posters greater love than when one of their multiple pessimistic predictions come true.

Or maybe not, as the case may be.....
its bloody brilliant when we win the odd away game , burnely away a few season back being one of the best away games in recent years its the best feeling in the world , i can even take losing them away games if we have a go and loose by the odd goal.
issue is for a while bar leicester the football on show has been awful to watch , i actually think the players feel the same looking as the body language in recent games , think they want to actually play football and attack teams .
so yes thanks get plenty of enjoyment watching rangers , but id like to get even more by watching us actually try and win a few more winnable games .

Yeah being vaguely positive is frowned upon by the vocal minority on here.
I think I’ve been positive this season. But I am struggling at the moment……our treatment of away games, the general performances since Leicester (with the odd exception), the running certain players into ground resulting in injuries to key players, the moaning about fatigue and injuries but then only making subs after 70 minutes, the managers lack of opportunities to Field and Kolli.

Current.
So it doesn't include that Norwich took 6 points off of Rangers when they were in 23rd position.
I do agree though that it isn't the very top teams that we tend to do better against. In my mind it's the teams that we are close to in the table, as Leicester were at the time.
It does feel like we consistently fail to beat bottom three teams though!
That's the expectation bias at work. We feel as though we should beat teams near the bottom so when we do, it's not remarkable or memorable. But we remember the losses because our expectation has failed, causing a sense of grievance. The reverse is true of beating teams at the top.
If anyone wants to prove me wrong, feel free to have a go, but the few times I've looked at the stats it's very clear that our results are biased towards more points from lower clubs and fewer points from higher clubs. It couldn't not be over any reasonable sample size.

Can I just remind you that this is YOUR thread started with :
“Good night.
Over and out.” 😀
Let’s also not confuse Ned’s digging out everybody else who might share concerns about CN or the club with ‘positivity’. It’s not . It’s griping about griping . We all do it just about different things . And we are all positive about different things too .

Yes re the thread.
Was meaning nothing left to play for this season as in - no chance of play offs with our injury situation as it is and also thankfully zero chance of relegation.
Nowt to do with positivity or negativity - just stating whats left to play for this season is only in terms of end position.
Am afraid there are many that are extremely negative on here.
But will continue to enjoy attending this season, sir. Love going even on the bad days. Its an event like no other for me

Can't agree at all. Being just 5 points off we could still make the play-offs however unlikely that looks, and some unlikely team has to fill that final relegation spot

There are 42 points left to play for! That's just two fewer than we have already.
Saying the season's over is obviously an (understandably) negative opinion given you started the thread 40 minutes after we lost miserably 1-3 at home to Blackburn.
But QPR could go on a four-match winning run and get in the play-off positions still or go on a four-match losing run and be sucked down into a relegation scrap. Loads to play for, for every club. We've still got to get 13 more points to beat last year's total, which is very important for several key club employees.

Ok
As said, we need to do better than the ten to fifteen clubs around us to get sixth place. We have dreadful injury issues and basically yes we need to go on a brilliant run with a depleted squad and only two wins in the last ten and most of our games left are much more challenging in terms of team positions.
Next five games
Away at Hull Away at Southampton Home to Sheffield United Home to Middlesboro Away to Birmingham.
Realistically need minimum ten points to remain in contention after these five games.

We could also end up in a relegation fight! Just as likely - in fact, history suggests possibly more likely than a play-off push, especially if Leicester win their appeal. Three defeats in a row and back in it.
42 points on the board to play for and we need around eight to guarantee safety, 13 to beat last year's total.
All to play for. If the players think the season is over in February then they'll soon discover it's not...
