Ref should have a word with the defender who tried to hack Burrell from behind. That's the Burrell we saw last season.

Another great move involving Madsen and Saito down the right, cut back to Bennie at far post but cant get to it. Bennie appeals to ref, thinks he was held back.

Adamson makes a good tackle in left back position but switches off and the trow in to the winger results in a cut back to the far side of the box and a first time shot which was travelling but 5 yds wide. 1 min added.

The Boy Kemper done well. A few nice touches from Vale.

The one that stood out that half for me has been Burrell. Looks sharp and dangerous.

IMO we have controlled that half, just not clinical again. Madsen chance the best and he should score. Kemper looks ok. Was getting forward early on. Isak wanting the ball, a couple of stray passes but looks a prospect. Burrell for the last 25 mins looked dangerous.

We will see what changes occur. Paul thinks a complete new 11.

Nice tribute to Bonnie Tyler on the halftime PA.

They'll be glad to see the back of Burrell; Vale was a class above when on the ball but not on it enough; good to see Madsen fit again; the Swedish kid looks worth more minutes over pre-season.

I thought that was ok as a pre season first half. We were clearly the better side.

Now to see what the second half with a new 11 brings.
