Simon (Barker) Says...Ewood score a goal. Blackburn Vs QPR match threads 07:11 - Aug 28 with 56139 viewsSpaceman_P

First hopefully we are wearing the black kit.

I cant really guage how this game will go. Blackburn are defying their script.
I feel if we turn up we can win it 2 nil.

If we dont then its that score reversed.

Being optimistic though.

Chair and Kone to get a goal.... I think Kone needs to redeem himself

For want of a less generic expression I would say just a little 'off the pace' and poor first touch on occasion.

Confidence maybe.

Lamptey already showing that extra bit of quality on the ball. Very promising.

Adamson can feel very aggrieved that he hasn’t got the nod to replace Cirkin. Filled in very well when required in previous two games. If I was him I would be knocking on the bosses door on Monday morning, requesting at least a loan move before the window closes. He knows now that JS is only going to use him in an emergency and he will fall further down the pecking order when the Boy returns.

Fantastic cross by Lamptey.

Slow as a cart horse and can’t trap a bag of cement would be more accurate.

I think his use of Cirkin/Lamptey today has been about giving them minutes to build their fitness levels and nothing else, I’m sure it would’ve been pre-planned regardless of performances etc.

I thought Lamptey was awful last week, much better this time.

Also loving Alfie Lloyd's energy.

Just makes last weeks result all the more frustrating, particularly with Lincoln winning at Bolton.

Maybe you are right and not doubting Lamptey’s quality. Just a bit tough on Adamson
