Could this story get any more bizarre? One of the suspects rang the Police and apparently grassed his mates up!! Everyone seemed to have a theory on the arrests but this latest development was not on any one’s bingo card.

Everything about this story screams Slow Horses plot line up to and including face saving arrest. No charges will ever be brought and we will get the full story in the Sunday Times in 10 years time

I think we live in times where very little stays secret for very long. If there are no charges brought against the 5 guys who were initially arrested then I can’t see what would stop them selling their story to the highest bidder.

Two charged with spying. Still don’t get why they bailed them out so early. I’d be surprised if they hadn’t been under 24hr surveillance whilst on bail.

The next question is why only two out of the five charged?

BBC article squeezes “British Nationals” into the first three words of their main article on the website. Could’ve just said “men” of course.

Mohmed Ahmad Abdulkarim and Nouman Essghir.

It might just stop Thommo and his acolytes sending a vigilante group to attack a police station.
