i'm not looking for excuses for the performance as it wasn't the best but it didn't help us with his desicion making he seemed life a bit of a homer and didn't help the way we started the game. |

i'm very suprised at the lack of post about how bad the ref was,he was very over protective of the wigan players but when our players were fouled he didn't seem to want to give us a thing.did anyone else think he had as bad a game as i did. |

i know he caused us untold stress but wouldn't he be just the player to put the fight back into our team,it seems strange how we may have all the craft but none of the nastiness you need to win games. maybe we do miss him, its just a thought . |

why has clint hill been overlooked at centreback,he was our best player to the end of last season and i think when he's played thier this season he hasen't let us down.its only when moved to leftback he's had problems and dew to MH tending to leave out people he blames for bad results,tarbs,faurlin he won't get a look in.sureley against stoke with no mbia it has to be hill and nelson,them two would be best at dealing with stokes physical threat,hopefully with faurlin or diakiti in front of them.i just hope thats the case this saturday. |

it is quite obvious most of our defence isn't up to standard,we need a replacement for ferdinand who just isn't up it,whats happened to dyer he was fantastic for a couple of games at rb.all this we don't need signings, we to bring in players to cover the panic buys at the start of last season. |

i've had the feeling over the last few weeks that mh is to negative in games,the subs against everton and the way we aproached the game against a fragile arsenal team.we showed in the last 10 mins with 10men what we could achieve if we attacked.you need to be brave in the prem to win games,and with the way we are playing reminds me of aston villa last year.we have to much attacking talent in our team and that should reflect on the pitch but i think the way we are playing seems to more show our managers persona.i don't want a massive upheavel at our club but i can't be the only one who'es been dissapointed with team selection and substitutions,i really hope things pick up but don't feel very posotive with team sheets or whats happening on the pitch. lets hope it all changes this sat,come on u RSSSSS. |

totally agree,against westham just couldn't get the team selection at home got the result we deserved.to then compound it by playing park out of position,swp atall and clint hill at left back where he hasen't played well for a couple of years just shows he doesn't have a clue,i was prepared to give him a chance but he just can't see his mistakes and he was the one who said we would not be in this position again.bring in harry with the amount of attacking potential in this side he;d have to make a better fist of it wouldn't he. |

i think uve hit the nail on the head,posted a similar thread couple of days ago.is mark hughes getting orders from above for commercial reasons not footballing ones,hope team changes happen or this looks obvious. |

the best form of defence is attack if u can't defend,as soon as i saw the team i knew we were in for a bad night.its all very well playing swp and park away from home against the big clubs but at home against westham is disgrace.i was backing hughes and understand about our problems in defence,but to leave our two best attacking options on the bench was a managerial disaster.i think park sold enough shirts and should start on the bench but will fernandes allow it,i do wonder if hughes has total control over team selsction. |

he's a good player, but is being played no matter what because of the asian interest he brings no matter his form.i do think we have better options down the flanks and he shouldn't be 1st name on the team sheet no matter what as it seems to be at the moment.does anyone agree. |
