Funnily enough, I have been reacquainting myself with their simply sublime Lifeforms album today having been reminded of it in the best album thread.
Ha, yes, I put that post on there and having listened to the whole of the first "Lifeforms" CD this morning, I had a dig around for some of their stuff on YouTube.
I listened to their John Peel session when it was first broadcast and there is some great larking about with John before they launch into the music:

Nearly posted yesterday. . Steve Mac is on half of Rhythm Masters if you remember them from the 90s. Really talented guy. Been playing a fair bit of his stuff from his label Jack Said What. Loads of twisted, wonky Acid.. This one has a really creďble 87 88 sound.
