Not going through 16 pages so this might have already been suggested but Sinead O'Connor's 'Nothing Compares to You' far superior to Prince's imo. I was more struck by the OP, some things don't change much over the years.

I have loads of Zombi albums, they are a duo who play mostly instrumental, synth driven rock, with one of them playing bass and keyboards - sometimes simultaneously - and the other drumming. Here, they have enlisted some help.
