Regardless of the result today at relegation doomed Rotherham (who have not won in 14, always a good time to play QPR), I think I'm watching Holloway on the very edge.
I watched perhaps half a dozen of Holloway interviews over the last month or so. What I see and hear is an endless rambling about 'passion', 'dying for the club' and 'transforming the culture'.

Nothing personal against Holloway. He did great last time for us, and remains popular. I just find him far far too desperate, almost incoherent in his enthusiasm.
I reckon we'll lose or perhaps draw today at Rotherham. Then what? His appointment almost smacks of 'we've tried everything else, and that hasn't worked, let's go back to an old friend who knows the club and try him...'.
Just feel increasingly uneasy that this latest experiment may end in tears.

Personally, I had serious reservations about giving the job to IH but you can't judge him after 4 games. The players are gutless, this is down to them. This team has relegation written all over it. | |

Because I'm like many others, utterly fed up with the football circus of recurring broken dreams.
This club just seems to go around and around in a great big endless circle of ineptitude. As one ex-player said to me once, "we're run like a corner shop, and no matter who turns up the culture never changes, and so the club never really progresses."

I absolutely agree that the manager can make a difference and as I said , I had reservations about Holloway getting the job. But the reality is, any team in the division with any sort of bottle should be beating Rotherham, and all but one before today has. This team is absolutely gutless. | |
