Baptiste or Terry on a free?
Despite the scrum links and England caps, I would still choose Baptiste.
As he knows this league and knows what's needed. We need a thug of a defender to throw on when we are 1-0 up against Fulham and need to close out the game.
This is a small gamble and if it goes wrong, it is not going to hold us back from looking at others. Where as Caulker eats up enough money for 3 top notch champ players.
Worth a shot and hopefully solves a problem for us.
Can we have a RB now so, Perch can move on ???

Agree with the first statement but not sure the second is true. I always felt that he was too pally with the players to be manager and was better placed as a number 2. That said, I thought the way Wright bombed him out after a good start in the championship was harsh.
As for Baptiste, distinctly underwhelmed but we've signed worse. What will become of Caulker? [Post edited 7 Aug 2017 21:06]
