Sorry if this has been covered, but just got my season and wondered if you 'have' to activate it simply to gain entry into the ground?
All this QPR Pay stuff seems super complicated and I'm not sure I need another MasterCard!

Don’t think so. I think you only have to ‘activate’ the QPR Pay bit online.
I think the card itself is ready to allow entry to the ground as per a S/T, BUT I’ll be taking last years along as well on Saturday....Just in case ! | | | |

If you simply want to use it as a season ticket just do nothing. Only needs activating if you want it as a debit card. Last years tickets have been cancelled. | | | |

Having now read the stuff that came with the card, I have changed my mind on this a bit. I now think this was quite poor from the club. Everything points you to activating it and it does not clearly say you can do nothing and use your card as before.
I knew to ignore it from here and other forums but I really think the letter that came with the card should have been more clear. |  | | |

I emailed the box office yesterday on this subject.
Last years ST Cards wont work now.
Do you have to activate to get into the ground? I thought it was just to activate the credit card facility (which is a complete piss take if you ask me) |  |

Wouldn’t it be good if the Club made this crystal clear in the accompanying paperwork or on the Offish website, so we didn’t have to clarify or confirm on an independent message board....?

Yeh I haven't really got the furore to be honest, other than I want my season ticket to look like a season ticket and not a flimsy debit card. But I did get the point made on the podcast last week that while I read and understood what it was on about if they were to send it to, for instance, my step dad, he'd be very confused about
- whether this was now his season ticket
- whether he had to activate it to use it to get in
