If we give away a penalty to Charlton I have a feeling that Lyle Taylor won't miss.

The grass is always greener.

Derek Acorah, ex Liverpool FC, has been in touch.

Penalty save incoming versus a team with "scruffy" supporters, so that's Luton Or Millwall.

It won't be long.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

???

Don't care what anybody or any law tells me, he was offside by a mile. Call a spade a spade i say. It's a bloody ridiculous rule.

I honestly would have thought we'd all agree on that, even on LFW.

Pretty certain all of the players and staff would agree.

And 100% certain that the person/people who initially came up with that rule weren't players themselves.

Its not difficult though is it

IT IS NOT AN OFFENCE TO BE IN AN OFFSIDE POSITION.

In the 'old days' as someone as said on another thread, players could be penalised for being offside whilst miles away from the ball and any other player!

Hence the law was changed to make the game more attractive.

Phil Parkes once scored direct from kick from hands for us at LR, but the goal was chalked off because one of our forwards was 'offside' - 45 yards from goal as the ball sailed about 20 feet over his head - you surely don't want to go back to that?!
