This has been a pretty poor half.

Way too many square pegs in round holes.

Centra midfield is a glaring weakness. Chair are Willock are fine in possession but when Cardiff have it they may as well not be there. Willock is clearly trying but he simply isn’t reading the game like a central midfielder. Ball is getting overloaded.

And Niko does not look up to being a WB. He’s far too conservative and yet still loses it far too much.

I’m not sure how we can change it without changing the shape.

Well that was pretty much expected in these conditions..... poor quality by both teams.
Needed to get in 0 -0 after Cardiff having a good last 15 mins
Bit hard to say anyone is really bad in these conditions
Dieng with those saves makes him if not our best player that half certainly the most influential
Can't see the game improving much in the 2nd half as players tire in this weather
Would take the 0-0, but really either side could nick this with the single goal
