Some of these people have come from Stoke - Preview 3rd Dec 2021 18:09
It's three wins on the spin and third in the league for QPR, just threatening to start really kicking into gear ahead of a televised Sunday clash with fellow contenders, but injury-ravaged, Stoke City. 6

Remarkable stats that 13 points have changed hands in the last 10 minutes of QPR games this season. Leaving early is a mug's game.

Cheers Clive. The only Rangers team I can recall enjoying more than this one, was the Jago side of '73-74. (Apart from two weeks under Magilton!).

Winning was all important in the "champions" season for me to enjoy. The Venables years were brilliant, but the pitch stopped them being exciting (they definitely were in some away games though). The Holloway side was reliant on honest endeavour (not meant as a criticism) & '10/11 was back to the result being the be all & end all (what great memories of some players/matches though).

Our current team has flair, a will to win & guts in abundance. Plus they can pass the ball to their team mate. That is not something I've taken for granted in most of this century!

It always worries me when I read the words

" Injury ravaged Stoke"
What can go wrong?

Can’t disagree with this, but I would just throw in the team Howe had started to get playing that Gerry Francis took over.

That team of the early- mid-90s could play bloody good football, and was just a couple of signings away from doing something.

I rarely watched Rangers during the period '84-'02 so I wasn't able to comment on sides from that period. This was when family was a priority, although I was allowed to take my eldest son to visit my parents & watch Chesham United in there glory years of the early '90's.

He also inherited my love of Queens Park Rangers & joined me as a ST holder in 2004. I think it was the rapport between Ian Holloway's team & the fans that brought me back to The Bush!
