Yeah I really don't feel like they did one over on us with Dickie at all. We should've sold him at peak value but that's on us, and the current backline is a marked improvement imo | | | |

It's a big summer for them. New manager, new sporting director, money from Semenyo.
It feels like they basically cleared the decks and shut up shop this year, which the manager had a strop about (as you would).

Dickie definitely needed a move at the time we sold him as he was a shadow of the player he had been earlier in his QPR career. As you say, the club should have sold him earlier if they wanted to maximise any fee.
Armstrong is probably one of those players that clubs will take a punt on because of his physical attributes and maybe needs a couple of seasons at a lower level. |  |
