We still seem to be pretty active in the transfer market, so it looks like things operating as normal.

Which could mean November. But i suspect it is in everyone's interest if the FA gets it done by the beginning of the season, ie two to three months.
But equally I suspect that Dragan’s pockets for this sort of thing are rather deeper than the FA’s, which makes an operating profit of less than £10 million pa. And a case of this kind, if/when it goes to appeal, could cost the FA hundreds of thousands if not more.
The obvious solution for all is some sort of suspended ban, which just might be enough to stop Dragan keeping the FA in Court for ever. | | | |

I would think that this might be the reason for the delays and the outcome, but the problem for the FA is that they are caught in a two tiered justice system, essentially we fell foul of EFL regulations and not FA ones.
Our offence would not be an offence in every other competition that comes under the FA's jurisdiction, so it is a two tiered justice system, Liverpool do it and it's not an offence, EFL clubs do and it is.
So can the FA get involved in upholding the EFL's laws and this may be the key. |  |
