I suspect that with the amount of Rangers supporters based in and around MK that may add a few thousand more onto the gate.

We get put in an upper tier corner section. Very nice of them

Next season if we meet them again let's put them in the corner section behind the sky studio bit

Can you still get to MK on that train line via Willesden Junction and Watford?

I'm sure a couple of years ago that was possible.

Southern Railways run an hourly service during the day which runs from Clapham to MK. It runs through Shepherds Bush so I suspect it goes also via Willesden Junction.

To be fair, any part of the ground will provide an excellent view and in good comfort too. Certainly one of the best if not the best new grounds around.

re: MK pubs, does anyone know or remember from last time, which bars show football? Was hoping to catch some Spuz v Arse pre match. Was in Wetherspoons Central MK before but don't recall screens in there.

The train goes from Shepherds Bush and next stop is Wembley doesn't go from Willesden Junction. Takes just over an hour from memory.
Pub choice in MK is poor when we went to the darts last year we ended up watching the football in the Casino.

The reality is that MK have now handed back the "history" to Wimbledon, officially. They were formed in 2004 and don't claim to be FA Cup winners.

The only major gripe remaining is using the "Dons" but it's too late for that to be changed so they can be enemies for ever. It's good to have an enemy and they'll play each other in the league soon enough anyway.

That is the Wimbledon take on things so no reason for us to do anything other than loathe them these days.

So turn up, blow up your inflatables and climb on a TV gantry with a clear conscience .

It does. Was in there prior to the France v Canada World Cup game in October. About a mile and a half walk to the ground though.

I thought this but when I check it directs me from Clapham to Victoria and then to Euston... the only train I can get direct is from Euston?

I'm pretty sure they did last time I was there. Given the "aggro" at the home game, maybe not.

Bletchley is the nearest station (fenny Stratford is actually, but only does local services like the Greenford - Ealing push and pull)
5 min walk opposite way to the ground is the eight bells (never been in there but looks decent)
On way to the ground from Bletchley station you will first come across "the park hotel" under the bridge . There is a working men's club a few doors down but not sure who they let in.
Further along towards the ground (past the bus station) you have the enigma tavern that is a foods type pub but ain't been in there for years so don't know what it's like.
If you continue to the ground from here then you will not get another beer unless you dive into lidl or Tesco .
If you get to the ground then other than inside, if you want a beer then you will be swigging a 6 pack from Asda right next to the ground.

If you go to mk station then it's a 10 min walk to weatherspoons/ Lloyds bar and a few foods places but you will need a cab to get to the ground (about £7)

My recommendation if you are getting here via Bletchley and you are early enough is to make your way to fenny Stratford (15 - 20 min walk) through Bletchley town centre. There are 5 pubs in close proximity to each other (malts tears / bull butcher / red lion / the swan and the chequers) and not far to walk to the ground afterwards

My local game. They sell beer in the home end but can't recall if they sell to away fans. The Enigma Tavern over the road from the station en route to the ground may be worth a visit. Can't park at Asda or nearby retail park due to time limits. If you have DW gym membership then it's worth a try as it's opposite the ground. MK central is a long, long way so use Bletchley instead.

I live about two and a bit miles from the ground and will look to park the southern end of the Furzton estate (have a look on a map of MK) or in Whaddon Road In Bletchley. Both will still result in a fifteen minute walk but you should get away quick once back to the car. Don't park in the industrial estate opposite where McDonalds is. Done that the last time and it took half an hour to get out the road.
