People die irrespective of whether we use a Gregorian, Mayan, Chinese etc calendar.
I find it disrespectful that it's deemed a shock. Reading an article recently suggests the number of celeb deaths will remain high per year for the next 10 years at least as it's the baby boomers now passing away coupled with more people being deemed celebs so are we going to have constant 'surprise' "another one gone" threads throughout each year for the next decade?
Let's keep it respectful with an 'RIP' rather than shock at the numbers. It's not a competition.
