So it looks like it’s not going to make any difference to this season’s clubs and their possible overspend,Or yo clubs who make millions from selling their ground to someone who already owns it? The guilty ones will got off Scot free and it will anyone else going down the same route in the future. If you’ve broken the existing rules, those rules should be applied to those teams that have broken them, and also the ones who do it in the future.
More transparency is good, and from a selfish POV we are miles ahead of the curve on FFP so any retributions or penalties on other clubs can only work for us.
All that will come out of this meeting is surely a statement that QPR haven’t been punished enough and a 12 point deduction comes our way immediately plus another season of terrible referee decisions imposed
But seriously.... it’s a crock. Who decided £39M was the right figure? Why can’t a benefactor simply donate money to a club if say they wanted Lincoln to be the next Bournemouth and didn’t want money back? It’s bollox and all designed purely to keep the small clubs small.
Top of their agenda should be policing of the EFL who are clearly not fit for purpose. I mean this is the organisation who have sanctioned all the goings on at Bolton culminated by recent approval of their new owner and his amazing recent past!!!!!
Sick of it
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
