Turkish paper Hurriyet reporting that Fenerbache are in talks with both club and player. Naturally the press over here have picked it up and are saying BOS is in pre-contract talks with Fenerbache.

Meanwhile, WLS reports that the People are sayng that Arsenal and Leeds are monitoring Dieng.

...as long as we get good money and sell at the right time, brilliant... need to recruit well though.

I think if BOS, Chair and Dieng all went in January, we would be heading for league one

Not sure they’ll all go in Jan - not sure the headlines (no substance necessarily) imply that either.

Think we are doing a decent enough effort towards that with them all still here

Dieng probably needs another season and a half under his belt at Championship level. No point going and warming a PL bench when you're 26.

Burnley interested in Chair?

Dyche would be more likely to sign Cameron than Chair! He could easily fit in at Norwich though, especially if Cantwell was to leave.

IMO Leeds do need a new 'keeper, but I would expect someone experienced, established to be top of their list. Arsenal may want a back up for Leno, but I doubt that they would replace their current second choice before next summer.

Actually, it did, as QPR wanted to sell him.

However, he was clever and he said he would only go on loan if QPR took him back and played him or at least put him in the 1st team Squad. Put it in a contract he did and that is what saved him and us.

Then he came on against the Scum and the rest is history.

O yes, good money and selling at the right time -that sounds just like QPR!

Sell Dieng, BOS and why not throw in Chair as well to Everton U23s, and we might as well just give up being supporters and suck up the business plan as we tumble down the leagues. What's even the point of a manager, fans or a club if you're not building a team?

But it is a balancing act. We are going to need to continue with the current approach of polishing up rough diamonds and selling them on for a decent profit for the foreseeable future, due to the massive hit to our revenues and the constraints imposed by FFP.

In any case, Dieng and Chair haven't gone yet. Clubs are monitoring players they might like to buy on an ongoing basis, or should be.

We can't build a team if we don't still have a club. We're going to need to continue trying to perform footballing alchemy.

That said, I think that if - *if* - we get to a January transfer window and look like we have a good chance of pushing for promotion, the board will invest in players to try to get us up, putting the financial prudence on hold, rather than taking the "we look safe for another year, let's be ready to sell players for whom we get a decent offer" approach we have seen a few times recently.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Let’s look at it this way. We are brilliant at community and the way we treat fans. Year on year we get commended for all the things we do to help people. We have a football stadium in an area of prime real estate. The only thing that let’s it all down is the football bit. So, in terms of looking at it as a business the football bit is a real weakness. It costs a lot and we’re not very good at it. The rest of it is pretty good. The only realistic option is to ditch the football team.

Never knowingly right.

OK, tongue-in-cheek, but as they say, 'there's many a true word spoken in jest':

"The only thing that let’s it all down is the football bit."

There are nearly 2,000 clubs playing in the National League system across 11 different tiers. Virtually all of these are professional to some extent.

QPR are currently around the 36th best out of those 2,000 teams.

Many 'bigger' sides than us are in lower leagues - and quite a few from my time of watching footie are no longer in the top four divisions.

So in the grand scheme of things, we're kind of doing OK to my mind...

For the last few days, umpteen Turkish language Twitter sources have been saying he is going to Fenerbahce. They may all be wrong and I am not saying I believe any of them.

Now - and this is how mad social media can be - many of them are using the fact that BOS has just followed Fenerbahce on Instagram as additional "proof"
