I was in a pub yesterday near Leicester Square with about 100 Dortmund fans.
There was a narrow corridor between my seat the bar and the toilet .
As i was on my way back to my seat
A man was coming towards me carrying a tray of drinks.
He had a Dortmund hat, scarf, shirt and a tatoo on his leg.
I stepped back to let him through as he passed me he satd.
" Cheers Pal" in the broadest Scottish Accent i was taken aback.
Made me smile

I went to see Dortmund play Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga back in April 2016 & there were plenty of English & Scottish fans there. They have a big international following. Fantastic experience & I'd like to go back again. Last time was for a Cup game against Union Berlin where the away support numbered over 12,000. Match day lasts all day and involves copious amounts of beer being sunk which certainly contributes to a raucous atmosphere. Everyone is extremely well behaved and friendly. | | | |

What a shame Dortmund did not score those early goals and get ahead it would have been way more exciting and better for the game if they won it IMO.

Referees help. For example playing until they score, or mysteriously forgetting the rules/applying a different set of rules for them - e.g. the semi-final vs Bayern.
Rather corrupt history too.
However, they are an extremely well run club under Florentino Perez which is the main reason for their recent success. |  |
