Notice lots of calls for various members of the aforementioned in the Manager thread so I thought I’d have a look at the assists.
One assist all season between the lot of them. Yep, you read that right, one whole assist.
That’s one less than our somewhat unfairly criticised captain, fill in right back, occasional centre half and all round clearer off the line, Jimmy Dunne.
It’s fckin rank. And you honestly think they’re the solution?!

I like some of what the club is trying to do in the transfer market. I get it, it's difficult to find value, to improve, and then to sell on. But it is unfortunate that we've got a load of potentially skillful little players when the top flight is looking for height and physicality.

Nope, they never were. Neither are the baller centre backs who don't dominate either area at set pieces.
We now have strikers, who now seem to be the only ones who score and right now only one of them is doing that. Lots still wrong with the team.
However, we are slap bang in the midst of a bunch of "meh" Championship teams who will beat each other. Make no mistake, Soton and Sheff U are sat in that group too and we should have got more than one point out of those games. [Post edited 9 Nov 8:19]

Apart from Smyth’s glorious header at Bristol City and a penalty, no one has scored except Kone and Burrell since the Charlton game which feels an awfully long time ago.
