It's not in the FA Cup because clubs in the lower leagues do not have it installed at the grounds. Thus, VAR is not used.

I've already seen an article justifying the use of VAR because of the errors made yesterday in that Villa Newcastle game

Poor referring happens all the time, even with VAR there are still arguments about decisions.

Prem referees have got lazy because they have VAR to back them up. If there’s no VAR why not use EPL referees who are used to not having it? Just heard that because of that sh#itshow yesterday that the referee is likely to be “punished” by doing an EPL game next week where, of course, he will be without VAR again and likely to make the same cock up. You couldn’t make this stuff up.

Piece last week says TNT Sports have been pulling bigger audiences for their FA Cup games than for their Premier League ones. Personally that's because one has VAR and one doesn't.

VAR has had a big impact on refs at the top getting lazy and not giving things. The shouldn't have needed VAR to get things right in that game yesterday. The non award of a penalty for the handball was horrific.

I don't think any of the games though a decsion cost a team the game, the teams hard done by still went on to win
