How much do you spend on loving QPR 10:30 - Sep 12 with 1901 views | paesanu | Interesting calculator on the BBC website today on the cost of following your team. I only go to several home games a season, that plus transport and pub drinks amounts to just under £600 a year.

How much do you spend on loving QPR on 13:52 - Sep 12 with 1674 views | wood_hoop | Nothing like I did when a season ticket holder.... Difficult to justify spending £100 plus for attending a game now and like me for many I would imagine the costs of travel & food far exceed the cost of a ticket. The value comes from what the individual gets from attending a game ( not much from the last two seasons) but then following a football club never starts off with what the financial cost will be, that kicks in when it becomes addictive. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I( worked it out as roughly 2 and a half k a season, just for the home games based on us spending around £80 a gameday on drinks and food (conservative), £8 for travel and a season ticket in R block. If we included all food/drink/travel and tickets for away games too, we are probably in deposit on a mortgage territory.

How much do you spend on loving QPR on 15:27 - Sep 12 with 1603 views | paesanu | I think the BBC have missed a trick, it's not how much you spend, it's what proportion of your salary that you use for the Rs. If I divide my total spend by my hourly rate, it works out at 50 hours. So basically a week and a bit per year I slog it out to contribute to certain players that remain nameless!

How much do you spend on loving QPR on 16:30 - Sep 12 with 1567 views | londonscottish | £2k a season last two seasons. Christ. It started off as just an evening game here are there then escalated to full-on-two-season-tickets-go-to-every-match-possible habit. Going cold turkey now as have moved house and can't afford a quarter of that. Still addicted to this website though.

How much do you spend on loving QPR on 01:52 - Sep 13 with 1427 views | SonofNorfolt | BILLIONS. How is angst measured financially? I wish I could have been a guinea pig at an early age, and had an off button fitted. Then I could have the holiday of a lifetime, as opposed to the many I've had, marred always by the worry that we lost in a pre season friendly against combine harvester drivers. I'm not gonna put my boys through this, but if they support anyone else, it's chimney sweeping for them. Well, it's got to make a comeback oneday, they'll thank me................
