Nothing like I did when a season ticket holder....
Difficult to justify spending £100 plus for attending a game now and like me for many I would imagine the costs of travel & food far exceed the cost of a ticket.
The value comes from what the individual gets from attending a game ( not much from the last two seasons) but then following a football club never starts off with what the financial cost will be, that kicks in when it becomes addictive. |  | | |

I( worked it out as roughly 2 and a half k a season, just for the home games based on us spending around £80 a gameday on drinks and food (conservative), £8 for travel and a season ticket in R block.
If we included all food/drink/travel and tickets for away games too, we are probably in deposit on a mortgage territory. |  |

I think the BBC have missed a trick, it's not how much you spend, it's what proportion of your salary that you use for the Rs.
If I divide my total spend by my hourly rate, it works out at 50 hours. So basically a week and a bit per year I slog it out to contribute to certain players that remain nameless! | |

It started off as just an evening game here are there then escalated to full-on-two-season-tickets-go-to-every-match-possible habit.
Going cold turkey now as have moved house and can't afford a quarter of that.
