It has to be the way forward for us.
According to scientific journals it will cost between £1.5-£2m to clone a human being. For the price of some of the players we tried to sign we could have four back up Charlie Austins.
When you think we spent £12m on Samba and £5m of Granero we could clone three more Charlie Austins, a couple of modified Adels and even go retro with a few back up Stanley's, Sir Les' and King Furs. Even at £2m that's only £16m.
That's 8 top players in clones for the price of a Samba and a Granero!
We can even sell them on if they go a bit flat and grow new ones at about £2m a pop.
Obviously they would take time to grow and we would probably loan them out early on and loan in old players from Spurs in the meantime.
We've sort of practiced that bit. Just need the cloning bit now.
Of course technology can go wrong...
