Stop and breathe this in --- Karl Henry played his role for three years too many.
At last we've got someone there who reads the game, has a bit of pace, actually tackles likes he means it and combines all that with passing ability plus gets forward when he can
All simple stuff but we've missed it for years

Pointless thread because anyone who doesn't say Scowen is just making another point.
Calling him a little rat (I know it's affectionate) is massively under playing everything else about his game. For me he is head and shoulders above the rest. Dare I mention him in the same breath as Paul Scholes? I may even replace my Clint Hill avatar with him if this form lasts until Christmas.
Going back to my first sentence, I vote Bidwell. He plays consistently well week in week out despite the audible sighs if a cross isn't met or a pass goes slightly awry. |  | | |
