Anyone else at his gig in St Albans last night? He name checked Rangers, bizarrely enough, in the introduction to a song. Said he wrote it with a former Soft Boys (IIRC) drummer “who is a big QPR fan”.
I think there was one muted, embarrassed cheer - I was too shocked to even manage that.
Cheered me up at least as I’d only checked the score on my phone about 10 mins before.

Wasn't at that gig but have seen him a few other times.
Most recently in the church hall in Chester about 3 years ago.
Always a great evening's entertainment and he has a great collection of polka dot shirts.

I Often Dream Of Trains is one of my favourite albums but here's one of my favourite RH songs from a different record.

According to Google, the Soft Boys drummer was Morris Windsor who seems to be on Twitter.

Any Twitter folks out there who can confirm if he's a QPR fan?
The QPR fan supergroup needs a drummer...

Guitar - Mick Jones
Bass - Glen Matlock
Keyboards - Michael Nyman
Vocals - Robert Smith

Yes “Morris” rings a bell now and yes, as it was so hot in there (The Horn - way to small for him, I thought) he got through three of his collection of colourful shirts, the last being being a fine bright blue with white polka dots number.
He was great though, bless him.
Good song, btw. 👍
