I am particularly disappointed with Smith’s loan, thought he was a decent prospect and could have hugely benefit from a loan deal where he could play a lot. Seen as a prospect for the SA national team also, this move is really halting his progress.

| Loan Players - Update on 10:29 - Oct 26 with 944 views | Logman | I remain convinced that several of them would be better off being here, training and mixing with the first team, maybe being named as a sub now and again and playing regularly for the Devt Squad. | | | |

If it doesn't change for some of them by January, recall them, train with the squad and research more suitable loans, if our injury situation allows.

| Loan Players - Update on 11:26 - Oct 26 with 719 views | Lblock | The word from Worthing fans is that C.A.B is, and I quote, "far better than our (Worthing's) level and he'll be a player" Good to hear. Morgan's situation really surprises me. It feels like a wasted few months for him and I'd sooner we had kept him around the gaff even if just for the odd cameo or fill in; even that is better than what he's getting at the moment. Maybe it's case of his face doesn't fit, he's not comfortable oop North and being away has knocked him sideways? It happens with young 'un's. If nothing else I hope the experience gives him more steel and determination to make it here. For the others I'd hope Big Phil can get some 1st team minutes soon. | |
| Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal |

I think it's more to do with Bradofrd having been on an upward tick for a while and having better players. I would expect to see them in the champonship in the next few years. But we should recall Morgan and get him somewhere else playing regular football, even it it's league 2. It is also a warning that we need to be careful not to overhype young players. The club don't help themselves with this either. That premier league cup win looks pretty average now.
