The Doomsday Thread 14:57 - Dec 20 with 1272 viewsexiled_dictator

OK, here we go.
We are nearing 21 December 2012, the end of the Mayan calendar and the world. Supposedly.
I don't believe in this story AT ALL. It will be just another busy work day, made busier by being close to Christmas.
However, just supposing that the Mayans were right and everything will end tomorrow, what is left on your Bucket List? Now given that you will have 36 hours at most to achieve it, going to the moon or sleeping with the most beautiful woman in the world is simply not going to happen.
I want to ride a Harley naked around London; feel the wind in my hair, wave a lot to people, and just have fun. I wouldn't even wear shoes. A big steak for lunch with chunky chips, eaten naked in a good meat restaurant. I would leave a HUGE tip for the waitress and carry on riding till it goes dark.
What would you do?

It's not what you've got; it's where you stick it.

I would just be getting down to enjoy my day when this nutter rides past on a farking loud bike completely in the buff.

Feeling that the day has been spoilt I would return home and make a cup of tea.

Sexy Asian dwarves wanted.

The whole end of the world thing is a myth Pedalled by the Hollywood style sensationalist Discovery Channel.

When I was in Mexico a few years back I visited the Chichen Itza and we had an archeaologist as a guide. We were asking him about the Mayan prophecy & he says the whole thing is rubbish. The cycle of the long calendat finishes tomorrow. What happemns next? It starts again, just like january comes round each year.

However, if the world was going to end tomorrow I would go out with my mates, have a few beers and a Chineses for dinner. then plat FiFA until it all finished.

Got suprisingly great odds from the bookies that it will all end tomorrow.

Can't wait to see the look on their faces if i win.

There's some place in France where the two worlds meet or something like that and Sky News sent a reporter there!

Appaarently police are expecting to have to close the roads to this remote mountain range tomrrow because of the expected crowds.

I'm not sure if this place is where it will all end or if you are safe if you go there - it was on a work TV without the sound up.

Can't really believe Sky News went to the trouble of sending a reporter, cameraman & uplink to some mountain side in France!

Madness

I'm in Sri Lanka with a 5 1/2 hour head start. If I find the time I'll give you a heads up.

Just had the mighty of all thunder and lightening storms I have ever seen or heard. Asking the misses for a blowy just in case. She's not buying it yet.
