Just read that Wrestling has been voted in to the 2020 and 2024 Olympics with Squash coming in 3rd behind Baseball/Softball ffs! What a f'in joke. Gutted that squash didn't win. After all the improvements that have been made to make the sport more spectator friendly and bearing in mind its global appeal and the fact I wanted to see it included makes this decision a sporting travesty.
It's such an awesome game to play and the level of athleticism, skill, endurance and dedication required to play at the highest level is massive. It's a sport which is very poorly funded in terms of sponsorship and prize money and I just think it was deserving of its first ever inclusion in thr Olympics.
Probably got the vote cos wrestling is massive in the US and it is a big part of MMA which is the worlds fasted growing sport. Your right tho wrestling is gash.They should include MMA then drop wrestling , Greco Roman ,judo and taekwondo.But keep boxing as a stand alone sport . Boxing is good.

So whilst we're agreed that there are many sports that shouldn't be included in the Olympics nobody actually agrees with me that squash should be one of the sports included.
Diving =falling into a Swimming Pool Water Polo = messing about in said pool Synchronised Swimming =taking the piss out of people who are Drowning Dressage= Gay Horses dancing Fencing =the art of buying nicked gear from career criminals Walking =people doing Max Wall impressions Curling = Scandanavians & Scots with to much time on their hands Beach Volleyball =only interesting when played by girls .
