Schoolboy enclosure at both the School end and the Loft, stood in both the School end and the Loft sat in Ellerslie Rd. Stood & sat in SAR, spent many years just to the right of the RH goalpost at the front of the Loft, same spot at away games with roughly the same people as home games. Been in Row A in MU for approx the last 20 years and will probably be the final stop in the tour around the ground for me. Also sat in the West Stand at Highbury for home games. |

A bride on her wedding night says to her husband 'I must confess darling, I used to be a hooker!'. He says 'that's alright. Your past is your past, I must admit i find it quite erotic. Tell me about it'. She replies 'well my name was Dave, and I played for Widnes" |

Chris Geiler, the youth coach, had a number of child abuse allegations against his name which the club were loathe to act upon at the time. |

At the start of the last series I decided to watch "The Great Pottery Throw Down" what a delightful series it turned out to be, so much so that I went back and am now binge watching all the earlier seasons. |

Turn up in numbers and non stop noisy support from all corners of the ground from kick off until the final whistle. Let's make the cliché of a 12th man count for something in our final two home games. |

When Ebere and Ilias both got in the team I was really hoping that Chay Tilt was going to join them in the 1st team so I could get a replica shirt with EZE TILT CHAIR printed on the back but then Tilt blotted his copybook by decking his GK in training and subsequently sacked. |

I've known Tom Hyett since I was a kid at the R's and he truly deserves to be called a legend of the club. Latterly he was in charge of the less abled fans but when he was a steward in the Loft he used to look after an adjustable platform I made that I used to hang on the fence for my boy to be able to see over the top, Tom used to collect it after the game and store it at the ground and if he had time it would sometimes be in place when we arrived at the ground. I used to chat to him before games but when I didn't see him at the Birmingham game I enquired as to his health and his daughter told me he had had a heart attack but was hoping he'd be back before the end of the season. I'm going to miss him, he epitomises the loyal fan. Edit. I just noticed autocorrect changed his surname to English. RIP Tom [Post edited 13 Apr 17:29]

Watching the 1st two episodes tonight. So far, very faithful to the games. |

Matty Salamon will be an interesting watch over the Summer; he has been fast tracked through all the age groups and has been in the pre match warm ups since MC took over. It will be interesting to see how much intensive coaching he receives before next August. IMO he looks a better prospect than Walsh or Cooper. |

It's almost 60 years for me and nowadays I feel the emotions just as keenly as I ever did but the frustration and anger after a poor performance has dissipated by the time I get home. I refuse to let our results dictate my life when there is so much wrong and suffering in the world. I get more emotional reading about the health of the posters than I do getting bent out of shape over R's fortunes. I'll be renewing my S/T every season I can get to games, irrespective of what division we are in. |

Do you know the reason for our bunch of knicker wetter fans being lauded with the soubriquet Drama QPR? It beats me. |

He told me that yesterday was only the second week he had been open so you may have been served by the West Ham fan before him. I also noticed they had a barbecue grill up and running alongside the cafe if that more to people's preference. |
| Forum Reply | “Saint” Marti at 10:50 7 Apr 2024
The tactic seemed to be 2 men on Anderson in the middle to stifle any midfield control by R's and two lumps at the back that meant Sinclair was completely nullified. After 10 mins of not winning a single header, MC needed to change it up. Willock & Chair play much better when they are closer together and IMHO, moving Armstrong out wide, Chair in the middle and Anderson as a false 9 to undermine their CB's aerial dominance would have given us a better chance of getting into the game. Marti has already taken the blame and the game is gone now so all we can do is regroup set things right at Plymouth. [Post edited 7 Apr 16:29]

It used to be packed with R's fans before games when Ray & Maggie ran it but the owners since they sold up ruined the place with bad food, poor service and ever increasing prices. Good news, there is another new owner as of 2 weeks ago who told Ray was his uncle and he wants to get the cafe back to how it was when Ray owned it. I popped in yesterday with Dave to get a cup of tea and we stayed for some food in the end. There is a good and varied menu now, prices are very reasonable and the service was faultless, you even get a Biscuit with your tea or coffee. I am posting this to let former regulars know that it is now worth returning and has been decorated with QPR paraphernalia again. |

Someone who (falsely) claims to have seen every QPR game without missing one for over 30 years? |
