To be fair, I teach these "mixed-fleet" kids (they're mostly between 18-25) & they only make up 15% of the overall cabin crew numbers...
BA's service will be mostly unaffected & they've picked the 25th/26th, when the vast majority of people will already be positioned where they are supposed to be for Xmas.
They are paid such a vast amount LESS than those doing the same job as them on other fleets within BA & are on much tougher schedules with more flying hours & less rest time between flights.
Around half have a second job just to be able to live & commute for a job they still really want to do... A second job, impacts their welfare in a safe critical role on an aircraft..
I do feel for them all & they're all good kids themselves, just asking to be heard, not taken for granted & get paid reasonably for what they do & do well.
Not having a go, just putting out there...
I personally really do hope you get to see your kids somehow over the festive period...

I'm a season ticket holder, but refused to pay to watch that yesterday, as like Holloway always said, we're like a bad tea bag... Never in the cup long enough!
It seemed so obvious that HR had told them to make sure we lose it (perhaps not 0-3!), not that he'll never admit it... I agree the league is the priority, but at least put in a shift!!
Even on the radio they were saying Mark Clattenberg was telling our defenders to stop time wasting at 0-2 & hurry up taking our free kicks!!! I mean WTF?!!!
* I still like HR, but the day McClaren went, was probably the WORST thing to happen to this club in recent times... Hoddle doesn't seem a patch on McClaren! [Post edited 5 Jan 2015 10:02]

Yep he did it several times with Kirkland's water supplies...
Quite amusing, especially when Kirkland got sooo desperate he rushed mid game, to near the half way line to be chucked another bottle from the bench!! Haha |

Austin failed his medical at Hull, due to his "knee issues", I believe...
Well I was just watching the YouTube collection of his goals someone on here put up recently & he REALLY needs to rethink his 'goal celebration' & get up off his kness, as this is NOT helping him!
Perhaps go for a more lethargic 'Shearer raised arm' approach...?!!  |

As it would appear, with Hooper falling for us at the last hurdle, Charlie Austin is next on the shopping list... How many did Austin score in The Championship last season? Six more than Hooper ever did & he's two years younger...

I got 3 in the Lower Loft about 10:10Hrs (all split up)...
At that time there was about 20-30 seats dotted around the lower loft, a whole bunch (40-70) in Block Z (below the Sky Sports TV Box) & everywhere else was sold out. I've checked again just now & the whole of Z is pracically gone & just a small handful of lower loft seats remain...
Did they give the whole away to Swansea then?!    |
