The Ref was not the reason we lost, but my God he was awful. Gave no cards in the first half, then a flurry in the second, including a terrible one for Smyth when it was hardly a foul. The 'penalty' decision is one of the worst I have ever seen and had he given it and a red card, it could have changed the outcome, We'll get a break one day.

That said we were wide open at the back and were too easy too open up and score against.

Cardiff roll call...

Good luck to all of you mad lot making the journey down there, I did think about it but it feels too much like a form of expensive self-harm.

Oh and don't forget to lump on Mr Bowler for first goal scorer...

I totally agree, compare today's 'effort' with that v Watford, where we got in their faces from the first whistle, we put in challenges and were up for it. Preston beat us without breaking sweat.

We have nothing about us, no passion, no bottle, no desire, no pattern of play or creativity and are so easy to play against. We're going down and deserve to do so.

Has Hugill scored for Rotherham yet? If not then there's your first goal scorer sorted.

I didn't realise that Sam Gallagher hadn't scored for 16 games before last Saturday.

Soft touch Rangers are in town...

I saw a few scuffles in front of me on SAR after the game. Seemed to be Boro fans who instigated it, lots of chants of 'soft southern b'stards' etc and mainly from young lads who'd had a few shandies. The Old Bill arrived after a minute or so and whacked a few of them, but it was all a load of nothing really. Sadly all clubs have these idiots, us included.

Just back
at 18:40 7 Aug 2022

Such a great day yesterday, it had everything that makes supporting QPR so special.

First home game of the season, sunshine, pre match beers, seeing all the usual faces and suspects in the ground, a new Rangers legend on the pitch pre-match and at HT, the family of an old Rangers legend on the pitch at HT - a lump in my throat. Rangers cruising at 3-0, goal of the season, conceding just before the break to make us nervous, backs to the wall and trying not to concede again in the first ten minutes. Conceding again after 10 minutes. Nails bitten, nerves frayed, expecting to lose, bodies on the line, injury time of 6 minutes feeling like 20. Utter relief at FT, cuddling everyone in close proximity, singing and celebrating, waking up with a proper thumping hangover.

Took 3 years off my life. What a day.

Agreed, a clear foul in the run up to their first goal.

TYKES V DYKES match thread....
at 17:56 12 Feb 2022

I hear you Acton and agree with much of that. However, when I listened to MW interview on Thursday he was adamant that we wouldn't take them lightly and how keen he is to put the Barnsley hoodoo to bed. So, did he not get that message across or did the players not listen? Talk is cheap.

I'm getting a little tired of MW with the same old comments about why we weren't 'on the front foot' and why we almost seem to have to go a goal or two down before we start playing.

A draw is all we have to show from 4 games v Barnsley and Posh which tells me a lot about our attitude. If we don't get a reaction on Tuesday night, then I will start worrying about our play off credentials.

He was and only 4 minutes added on was a touch. Should have been 6 in my opinion.

Unlucky with the deflection, but I disagree about the stupid mistake comment, as Dieng was far too casual and should’ve cleared the ball, and that lead to their corners and the goal. Gutted.

Was there many QPR in home ends?
at 21:13 11 Sep 2021

Very similar to Watford, but as you say we stayed put until the pitch invasion at the end! I reckon there were probably a couple of hundred in the home ends today.

The Reading 'mob' were just a load of gobby kids who'd had too many e numbers and shandy. It was good to see their faces when our 3rd went in. '3-1 and you fckd it up' - sweet.

Just a shame it's such a pain getting to and from the stadium, queuing for buses, etc. I couldn't do that every other week.

So sorry to hear that and I hope that your boys are ok and are not daunted by this (I note you're taking them to Orient). Frankly I'm shocked, but not surprised that this happened as my lads were in The Green yesterday and reported to me they saw snarling 50+ year old men walking past goading all and sundry, probably Charlied up to their eyebrows. As classy as ever.

As some have posted, if their fans are allowed in in future, then it should be the top tier only, as it is for us and they should be held in for 30 mins afterwards too to hopefully avoid these scenes.

Best wishes to you and the boys and I hope you get some sort of explanation from the Police, but I won't hold my breath. ;

New U-23 Signing
at 10:17 7 Jul 2021

Best of luck to Sean Adarkwa. however a friend of mine who works at West Ham is surprised we have signed him and messaged me to say that he is 'A Ryman League player'. I hope he can develop in our U23s.

Don't shoot the messenger.

I would assume that if it is to be West Ham then we must be discussing a deal involving Hugill plus cash? Assuming Hugill hasn't sustained a serious injury.

I just hope we aren't tucked up again as we were with Sinclair going in exchange for a couple of Million plus Dowie and Keith Rowlands!
