Squad for rest of season.Taraabt a Striker!
at 17:26 4 Feb 2015

Bit of a surprise but I've long wondered why Taraabt has never been tried up front. His manner on the field is a bit like Berbatov who just hung about near the oppositions box because he didn't like running around.....but he did score goals.

Its simple! I want him to have one job (same as most of us) and do his best at it. He doesnt need 2,3 or 4 jobs like some poor buggers do.. Harry is just like all those MP,s who are supposed to look after our interests while piling up the dosh in the City. At the end of the day he is a working class bloke and from my view he is shitting on his own by not doing the right thing by us.. Simply Being a Football Manager.

I think you are missing the point! I would not deny someone the opportunity to earn a crust..but how many crusts does Rednapp need? Are you David Cameron or maybe even Jamie?

Taarabt: I want to leave
at 18:20 15 Jan 2015

In all my time of following football (65 years?) I have never come across a situation where a player gets so much critisism...without evidence to back it up. Just about everyone seems to accept that Harry Rednapp can be less than honest in his statements and yet when it comes to Taraabt there are many who take his word as gospel! Rednapp and only Rednapp has made comments about overweight, laziness and lack of work ethic. yet somehow his comments on this have been swallowed 100% . We have had endless posts about kebabs, nandos etc without anyone admitting they saw Adel in this or that cafe. The venom directed at him from people who know nothing about what was really going on intrigues me. I have to say that I feel the matter of "race" is a factor here. Its depressing to consider that Adel, coming from a muslim country is getting stick from "supporters" who are more concerned about his origins than they are with his abilities with a ball. The bloke is only 25,we know he has fantastic talent,we are in a desperate situation, he was one of the best against Burnley ...yet some are STILL saying F*** Off! I smell a rat and that rat is a racist!

Just in case you thought our Manager was giving 100% to our Club. The BBC Hampshire website today carries an interesting story. A company called Pierfront Lifestyles has been refused permission to build 100 homes and some shops on a site at Southsea. The plot of land used to be occupied by a fine Victorian building which somehow burnt down in 2011. The point being that the Land Registry reveals the owner of the land to be one Mr Harry Rednapp. This will probably be the same Mr Rednapp who in a court case a few years back stated he was so illiterate there is no way he could understand any documentation related to business affairs.
How much money does this man have or want? How much of his time & emotions are devoted to the job we all assume he does full time? My wishes for an end to his involvement have never been higher. I hope on Monday I can say "good riddance" and the air in Shepherds Bush will be clean again.

Defoe and Pace

After months (a year?) of Rednapp pursuing Defoe he gets nicked from under his nose by Sunderland. Thank God I think. Even if Defoe has a decent shelf life left (which I doubt) there can be little doubt that if Rednapp got him on board he would soon have him playing out of position or used in a fashion which detracts from his abilities. Personally I would remove all transfer activity from this useless shell of a Manager.

The Harry Redknapp QPR lie watch
at 15:24 14 Jan 2015

Saturdays appearence of Taraabt confirmed the belief of many that he has not been played simply because Harry doest like him (for whatever reason). He could only have got this start if : 1. Rednapp is desperate. 2.Rednapp wants shoppers to see Adel. There seems an agreement that only 3 players turned up against Burnley. Green,Austin & Taraabt.. So what next? We learn that Rednapp hopes to do a swop deal in which Taraabt goes to Italy and in return we get a player 1. We have never heard of. 2. Is an unkown factor 3. And in exchange for one of our better players. Given his track record Rednapp should not be given any opportunity to add to our squad..he is a very poor judge or something worse. Why cant we have Hoddle & Ferdinand as the joint manager/Coaches to steer us away from the rocks?

Wasnt at the game but the pro/anti Adel thing goes on. It strikes me that those who thought he had a reasonable game are the same people who felt he needed a chance, whereas those who say he was crap are probably the posters who keep referring to Nandos,Kebababs etc. Maybe the concensus is that he was OK yesterday and with that in mind it makes sense for him to get a run in the team, chances are he is rusty and will improve? Would love to see him demolish the Nando people.

Entirely agree. I will struggle to make the journey for the Burnley game.Over the past 3/4 years there has been so so much disappointment. I have grown to loathe Rednapp,he is blaming tiredness today .Not acceptable agiainst a team so far below us. We have some very good players and a Manager who hasnt a clue.

Yes we want & need his dosh.My fear is he will choose the wrong time to sack Rednapp. He got it wrong with Warnock (too soon) & Hughes (too late) my guess is that this time it will be too late again...at all costs he needs to be gone before the window.

Agree. The recent improvement (before Saturday)was probably not down to him. While he has been with us it has been a steady downhill journey. Oh why, why did Fernandes sack Warnock? I never join in the stupid chants of Fernandes name as he really f***** us by changing to Hughes. Warnock would have continued to get the best out of Taraabt & been a motivating force on & off the field. Does he care about winning... I think so! Does Redknap love money ...ditto

Players you were gutted to see go
at 23:54 6 Nov 2014

Thinking about more recent times I was gutted to see Ryan Nelson go. The bloke was not a great footballer but in the short time he was at the club he was totally committed and a rock in our defence. He was also a very decent guy which is something you could not say about some of the squad at that time. And this season its got to be Remy, to lose a class striker to
Chelsea is truly gut wrenching.

Strait jacket for Rednapp!
at 14:39 24 Oct 2014

What is going on in Harrys head? He is now telling the world he could have won the Prem at Spurs.....more realistically he could have said "I could have taken QPR down to the Championship". Is there no limit to the size his head can reach? Will he ever have his feet on the ground?
Sometimes I wonder if he is having a game with the media to see if there is a limit to the daft quotes they will swallow..He has a major dilemma for Monday. If he plays Taraabt and the boy puts in a blinder, Harry is going to have egg on his face. If he doesnt play him it will suggest he is in a big sulk and not prepared to give the player a chance to prove himself.
Personally,I would like to see Adel score a brace followed by a Press Conference at which Fernandes announces a new management team ...Hoddle & Ferdinand (no not that one!)

Redknapp v Adel PART II (Adels side)
at 15:22 22 Oct 2014

The thing which annoys me about this saga is how many people have posted anti Taraabt comments without any evidence to substantiate their remarks.
It goes a bit like this..... Harry Rednap, footballs ducking and diving Del boy character loses his temper during a press conference. He makes derogatory remarks about one of his most talented players. In the past, most folk have been sceptical about some of Harrys quotes but on this occasion it seems his allegations of overweight and refusal to train are Gospel truth!
Now, either I have missed some Damasckian event which has changed Rednapp into a man who will always speak with 100% honesty. While at the same time Taraabt has been stalked by fans who have trailed him from Kebab House to Chip shop and even peeked through his bathroom window while he is on the scales.
It seems ,in a nutshell that Taraabt is a fat, lazy, greedy bastard. Whereas Rednap is a shining knight of honesty and decency.Maybe he thinks he is still in the witness box when he was prosecuted for being dodgy. (Totally innocent of course.)
The worst thing about all this is the forgotten pleasure and thrills that young Taraabt has brought to QPR games (when he is allowed to play) in comparison to what a 65 year old geezer has failed to bring to QPR games.
How many of those fans who are slagging off Adel used to join in with "Taraabts too good for you? Bloody two faced hypocrites in my book and the sooner the real fat old git leaves the better.

Harry should go, preferably right now

"I,ll support whatever the club decides" . Tony Fernandes must love fans like you.Through thick and thin the Club is right.Sadly ,history has shown this to be untrue and people who stay loyal despite the evidence (Hitlers fans) end up getting shafted. Please use your brain and consider the situation we are in. A grumpy, past his sell by date manager. Quite unable to capitalise on the talents of one of our best players. (Worse than that, actually making statements which could ruin his future as a pro footballer). I consider Rednapp to be a disgrace to football . He cares only for one person (apart from Sandra) and that is himself. Let's get rid before he causes further embarrassment.

Redknapp v Adel PART II (Adels side)
at 23:46 20 Oct 2014

Adel was bound to respond...anyone would after such a bitter attack from your boss. There has been a lot of comment about how much he is paid as if he personally is raiding the QPR coffers. He is on a contract folks, the club agreed to pay him this money..the club also agreed to employ a Manager who is becoming an increasing embarrassment.I think Rednapp likes to be surrounded by YES men as deep down he is a tiny insecure nonenity. How many of the "Fans" who are slagging off Taraabt were singing his name 2 years ago? What has changed since then? We have a manager who is vastly overated,a bit dim and with a very short fuse.
Each day I wake and hope he is gone. The man is poison and does not have our club in his heart ...

Fcuk off Redknapp
at 18:44 20 Oct 2014

I'm coming round to the view that Rednap has become a grumpy old C*** (I should know as I am one). His comments about Taraabt apart from being unprofessional and irrelevant in the context of the Liverpool game, are clearly untrue. He obviously does not like Adel and has never wanted him. We all know what a great talent this bloke has and I for one miss seeing him in the team. Rednapp likes to remind us that he is one of the most experienced managers and as a former manager myself I am staggered that he came out with his rant in such a public manner. If there are problems with Adel , its the managers job to sort that out behind the scenes rather than humiliate the player and probably exacerbate whatever the problem is. I am beginning to hate Harry and fans pissed me off yesterday when they chanted his name just because ,for once, the team did what they are paid to do.
