Agreed, it's exactly what clubs at our level should be doing. Backed up with a policy to spend within their means, it can prove to be very successful.
For the full details of any such deal and its relevance to benefitting a club, people would have to check the accounts. We all know that there is little of substance from what people are told. |  |

The regulars on there stroke their chins and look unfavourably upon those buckets who read, and post on here in such a way that they are made welcome on here.
Likewise any Daley who respectfully posts over there is generally treated like shit.
There appears to be a barrier* which prevents many of them understanding that genuine football folk take a wider interest in the game than the confines of their own club.
They can actually manage it for fans of other clubs, but not ours, humourously.

The cost of a policeman is far more than the cost of a steward.
It is normally a collaberative agreement between police and club that security levels are suitable.
For there to be no police inside the ground, Bury FC and whoever they use will have had to make assurances to the police that they could manage the crowd once inside the ground.

That's why a link to a factual report of the incident has been requested. One which will further back up the club's stance.
Also, if there's any specific facts which support the club not being represented as per the article, we could view them too so as to gain a greater appreciation of such actions. If the article is wrong and the club did represent themselves to prove the "fact" mentioned in this thread, is there further reading around what happened which led to the decision going against them? | |
