Always a tough game against any Darren Ferguson side. We have to score first tonight; otherwise if Donny do they will totally timewaste and con the ref into silly fouls by falling over. I think we've been lacking width in all the games I've seen; the attack seems to have been very isolated from the midfield at the moment. Also, after Moore's gaffe despite another strong performance, will Hill bring in Josh? Not sure.

As much as I like Davies, I wouldn't start him at the moment as he looks so unfit and unable to run half the time. I think Bunney was very poor on Saturday and looked miles off fitness, I think we'd be better putting McNulty at left back (he's looked a lot more steady this season in fairness to him) and having McGahey and Daniels in the middle. This won't happen though and I fully expect the same back 4 as Saturday (maybe raff for Daniels, hopefully)
I'd be tempted to play a smaller front line and trying to play it into feet/into the channels like we used to.

This game has echoes of last season's home game with Fleetwood.
We went into it on the back of poor run of results despite not playing too shabbily.
In the end we ground a result out and it led to us putting a bit of a run together until the slump after the Barrow F.A. cup game.

OP's getting an accidental battering!
Davies has scored one goal via a corner and two from the penalty spot... For me that's not enough to be starting him based on those stats alone. I agree that when he's fit and firing he's a big goal threat but for me he's just not offering enough in his general play to warrant it.
